logic reasoning

Post by northwood » Tue Jun 08, 2010 6:14 pm

is there a sub section of logic reasoning that is particularly hard? I have noticed in my pts, that I am missing a lot of questions numbered 14-20. Do they put the really hard questions in the middle, and the easier ones on the ends to trap people that answer the questions in sequencial order? Or am i making patterns and inferences out of nothing

I don't think so, it usually is pretty random. However some of the older tests seem to ramp up in difficulty...

The harder questions usually fall in that range for me as well. The beginning ones are easy as are most of the last ones. Of course it might not be exactly 14-20 but the ones in the middle usually are tricky.

this seems correct to me. questions 21-26 seem to be of time waisters.

I found that from question 20 on, things always turn harder.

You are right. Questions 14-20 are the hardest. 20-25 are medium. 1-14 are easiest. They will throw a hard question in the beginning sometimes or an easy question in the middle, but typically this is how the test works.

Ive heard the first 10 to 15 are easy, and the last five are the ones that take the longest (ie PF and P questions). The middle portion are the tough ones.

There are exceptions to the rule, but the first ten questions are almost always a breeze. LSAC really starts to amp up the difficulty when you get into the teens.

By the way, has anyone noticed that they tend to place a ridiculously long parallel reasoning question towards the end of each LR section?
