Question for Those who have Taken the LSAT (Not June)
For those of you have taken older lsats (not june), if you walked out feeling good - did that end up meaning you scored well??? Were there any surprises when you received your score and had felt good about it?

Re: Question for Those who have Taken the LSAT (Not June)
I took both June ones last year and this year. and I knew right there I sucked in LG and that was gonna screw up my total score.
so last year when I came out, I guessed my score would be somewhere between 160 to 165. I got a 163.
this year, I would be happy if I can get anything better than 165.
Now I realize maybe the June exams each year would have weird and tough games?
If there's another time, if, for me to take it, I definitely would never take it again in June.

I walked out of Sept 09 feeling meh about it. Ended up with a 163. Re-took in Dec 09 and felt pretty good about the test. Ended up with a 169.

My score was not surprising, about as well I thought I did walking out.

Okay - well I walked out feeling good - I hope that's a good thing. But then again, I can't remember most of the q's - so how the heck do I know if it went well!? LOL

Granted your raw score didn't have to move up that much with that dec curve.cardinalandgold wrote:I walked out of Sept 09 feeling meh about it. Ended up with a 163. Re-took in Dec 09 and felt pretty good about the test. Ended up with a 169.

Took in Sept 09 on virtually no sleep, walked out confident but exhausted. 167. Depression. Retook in Dec 09 with sleep, walked out confident again. 178. I vote no correlation, but your mileage may vary.

I took it for the first time June '09 and walked out feeling good but couldn't remember much about the test. When I received my actual score it was well below my PT performance and expectations. Couldn't believe I could do so poorly.angiej wrote:Okay - well I walked out feeling good - I hope that's a good thing. I took it a second time in Feb '10 and felt even better about my performance and my recollection of the test was much clearer than the first time I took it. Again, I did not perform as well as my PT's or expectation but improved and was much closer to how I performed on my PT's.
I would have cancelled Test 1 had I expected to do so poorly but I just had no clue.
