Haha, probably. Now I'm bored. I can only hope that fox news comment starts an argument.

If you state the physical location of your place of employment you have not answered the question, "New Jersey" is not a proper response, even by the alternative definition provided on the first page of this post. Some say this is a stretch...it's not a reasonable stretch, it's irrational.

But if you could be studying one of three different regions you could be studying/apprenticing in one of two different occupations and someone asks you what field you are in you could respond "occupation 1 or 2" or "region 1, 2 or 3".

I think the ambiguity has less to do with the fact that a certain occupation was involved as much as it has to do with the fact that we were talking about studying an occupation and a region

I'm glad that ended. I was getting sick of being a huge dick to everyone who didn't agree with me. Gotta give me some credit for a near 20 page bullshit argument though.

Is it weird to hide it? I just saw that it was an option the other day and thought it was sneaky and cool.

Does anyone definitely remember if the word in question was preceded by the word 'trained' or 'assigned'?

This makes a big difference. I remember it being that assigned, but someone else said trained. If it was trained that makes it much less ambiguous.

Thank you all for your participation. No matter how much it wanders off-topic, the thread is still fulfilling its intended function to help people identify a situation they may have experienced on the test, to inform them of the proper course of action in contacting the LSAC, and to encourage them to do so in a timely manner.

I'm not gonna quote the test, but I'll respond to you by saying that it wasn't ambiguous.

Your answer is ambiguous. :D Could you pm me? I think I take your meaning but I'm not certain. Also, how certain are you?
