Re: DONE!!!
Today was my first time ever and I already canceled -I bubbled in those two bubbles from the beginning of the test. I was a fool to think that 2 weeks of prep-time was enough time. My 2 week plan was to finish the Powerscore series, practice and I thought I was going to see improvement on my practices from my original diagnostic... Ha! In the words of Homer Simpson, doh!
Also, I didn't discover this forum until recently either.
In October, I'll be ready. I kind of have to be if I want to start law school in Fall '11.

Re: DONE!!!
Anyone remember a question about identical twins? I think it was on my third LR section (I had LR LG LR RC LR), so it was scored.
I must have spent 3 minutes all told on that question, and still have no idea what the correct answer was. From the looks of it I must have completely missed the point, as nobody else has brought it up yet.
And also - the LG section was pretty tough for me. I think I figured out the major inference in Q4 about 5 seconds before time was called - just long enough to realize I had guessed right on #19, but had probably gotten other ones wrong.

I remember spending a good bit of time on the twin question also. There were two answers that seemed wrong and three that seemed really wrong, and that never turns out well for me.karcirate wrote:Anyone remember a question about identical twins? Definitely threw some Ds on that bitch.darby girl wrote:Hey yall,
This is my second time taking it and I thought it was really difficult. Thought the LR's were not so bad, finished with tons of time for review (similarly had a streak of D's, with an E or two in there). Had experimental RC first, thought it was a BREEZE, then completely bombed the real RC because I didn't manage my time and had to guess on a lot of the last section. Thought LG was easy up until the intern question. Bombed that part even with ample time! Would have gotten -0 probably, -1 most without it.
Really upset and kind of considering cancelling, but I got a 154 cold the first time and don't know if I really could have done much worse. Any advice? The schools I plan to apply take your highest LSAT score, so will it hurt me if I do actually do worse? I plan on taking again in October.
Hope everyone does well!

Re: DONE!!!
I had same, thought the first was easiest, 2nd was hardest. Which means the first one was experimental with my luck.budafied wrote:I had same order. I have no clue which LR it was...iwanta170 wrote:The order of mine was LR LG LR RC LR
Anyone have a good guess of what the experimental was, the first or third section?

Felt the SAME way on that question. Nothing seemed right. Two just seemed less wrong than the other three. Damn.malfurion wrote:I remember spending a good bit of time on the twin question also. same exact for me!! i hope i am not overstepping what i am allowed to, but one that was something like the non-identical twins and the ones that do different things while growing up together were the ones i thought to be LESS wrong than the others haha. they all seemed wrong to me. really hard question. wish i spent less time on it as well!malfurion wrote:I remember spending a good bit of time on the twin question also. I had the exact same feeling about that question. I circled it and was agonizing over it for the last 5 minutes of the 35malfurion wrote:I remember spending a good bit of time on the twin question also. Why does it take three weeks, seriously? Why not release preliminary scores 1 week later? Bastards.

Did anyone else have like 9 D answer choices on the last LR?

Re: DONE!!!
Oh man, I always have like 6, 7 minutes extra time on LGs in practice, but that travel writer intern one killed me. I was really rushed, had to guess on one of the last questions just to put something down, I wasn't able to go back to confirm my other answers, it was terrible. I thought the mulch question was actually pretty easy though.
Ugh. I guess I'll find out soon enough if I need to retake. Wouldn't be surprised though.

Reading this thread is starting to make me feel worse and worse...
Just read FK couldn't be the same type of section, not that they couldn't be together? I definitely didn't catch that. And I hardly ever get LG wrong.

kkklick wrote:Doubt the curve, june is notoriously the harshest curve. I'm confused as well because I remember realizing half way through the last game that FK meant that they cant write the same type instead of they cant be together and Im not sure if I went back and fixed it Either way I wont cancel, if I do bad I'll just write it again in OctoberShip87 wrote:I agree Bond. Ugghhh I'm debating if I should cancel. This was my best section, the section I was supposed to build my score on. Lets hope for a -14 curve
Did this rule have much effect on the game? I felt like the if questions maybe wouldn't have been that thrown off by it.

What'd you guys think of the suburban sprawl RC passage? For some reason I had some trouble with it, possibly because it takes me a while to calm down and think straight in the beginning of a section. Did you think it was easier/harder compared to the others?

sprawl and bee's were pretty easy. the other two were tricker IMO. chavez and austrail.

Took me ten minutes. I had to rush the rest of the section (which was harder, except for the bees). But I think I did well, all said and done.cyxdev17 wrote:What'd you guys think of the suburban sprawl RC passage? Re: DONE!!!
If I remember correctly, the catch to this one was about twins who lived apart, which the scientists concludes means that genetic factors influence, not environment. So the right answer seemed to be twins who lived to together, but try differentiate themselves. This seems to hurt the genetic argument.
Then again, I could be totally wrong and should go cancel my score right now.
