Not sure how I got this one right. Anyone have a firm understanding of why a) is correct? None of the other answers appeal to me, but how a) supports the prediction in the last paragraph is not airtight for me.
Thanks!

Okay, the guy's prediction was that scientists were going to start taking more hints from nature. B and C do nothing to help this prediction (they say nothing about taking hints from nature). D also fails to help, as it focuses only on the guy, not other scientists. E might seem like a good answer, but it makes a crucial mistake: it says that the designers are not aware of their concepts coming from nature. Why would they take more hints from nature if they aren't aware of any benefit coming from doing so?
A, then, is the correct answer. It says that scientists have only recently become aware of nature's underlying mathematical patterns. So, since they're now aware of them, and, thanks to the guy, see how well they work, they'll presumably start using them more.
Does that make sense?

Nicely put! Thanks for clearing that one up for me.
