LSAT Seating?

Post by balzern » Fri Jun 04, 2010 11:28 am

Do the proctors place you where you will be sitting during the test? If not, is it better to sit in the back of a room or in the front??

Thanks!

I was sat in order of when you got in. But I don't know if that is some kind of standard. I liked the front row because nobody in front was moving around.

Not always. When I took it in September, at a community college, you got to sit wherever you wanted. Which actually made a pretty big difference, because the desks available ranged from large and comfortable to tiny creaky broken pieces of shit, as the people who came into the room last became acutely aware of.

How early did you have to get there to ensure a good desk?

For me, being 10 minutes early was more than sufficient, but it can vary from site-to-site. My experience was more of the exception than the rule, I believe, but in case something like this does happen to you, it would be good to be one of the first people in the classroom.
