Just one more sign that the law school admissions process is disconnected from reality.

The also only administer 6 tests over 6 weeks, which is totally stupid.

For only $5000 I'll dig a pit and trap you in it for 6 weeks for an intensive preparation course.

Re: kaplan course for $11000?
I would rather pay $11,000 for someone who got a 180 to get plastic surgery to look like me and write the test for me (in Canada there are no fingerprints). Whoever signed up for this class is a complete moron. Seriously, why does it seem like everyone is tryiong to gain whatever advantage they can? IT's a standardized test that you practice for and take to the best of your ability. Whether studying at home for free or paying 10000000000 for a course won't make such a monumental difference

I don't see what the big fuss is about. Personal instruction and tutoring can go a long way in mastering the LSAT- and those of us who are serious about acing this test need all the practice and instruction we can get. Plus, I can just park my yacht in Boston harbor and have Jeeves pick me up in the Rolls. It's really a win-win.

OMG. NO. NO. NO.
I also knew someone that did this program, they did worse than the person CC mentioned with a 158. Just avoid Kaplan at all costs actually.

Re: kaplan course for $11000?
I took an oxford course for 500, for LR it was okay, for RC it was useless, but for logic games it really helped me I always get near perfect even on the hardest games (and this is coming from someone who doesn't even know what the front over the logic games bible looks like). In my opinion 500 was just worth it. These princeton courses for 2000 and kaplan for 11000, is just like flushing money in a toilet. Study on your own, if I had already grasped the basics of logic games I probably wouldn't have even needed the course

LOL score? That sucks because on my diagnostic I scored a 161 without ever having opened an LSAT book (took a formal logic course though in 2nd year)hellokitty wrote:OMG. NO. NO. NO.

This person scored a 150. Which was drastically better than their diagnostic was, but still. 11k for a 150 is not okay.confusedlawyer wrote:LOL score? I could smoke a blunt and drink a bottle of grey goose, walk into the LSAT and score above a 150. No joke intended

Lol, maybe you could tutor me. I didn't score much better, that being said, I'm glad I only wasted $1200 on Kaplan and not 11k. They suck.confusedlawyer wrote:I could smoke a blunt and drink a bottle of grey goose, walk into the LSAT and score above a 150. No joke intended

Re: kaplan course for $11000?
lol the stimulants were just for effect, The way my brain works is I can get at least 80 right, but no more than 88. Every test I've done in the past month and a half has been within that range. I don't think I would be a good tutorhellokitty wrote:Lol, maybe you could tutor me. I didn't score much better, that being said, I'm glad I only wasted $1200 on Kaplan and not 11k.
