LR Bubbling Strategy? POLL

Post by honestabe84 » Wed May 12, 2010 2:25 am

I've made a couple bubbling errors from bubbling after two pages, and I'm thinking about changing my technique to bubbling after every question. Does bubbling after every question really waste that much time?

One of my biggest problems on the LSAT was bubling. I'm a bit Dyslexic and a lot ADD, so bubbling was a serious task for me. I bubbled each question and did pretty welll on LSAT. What is your goal on the LSAT?

I believe it takes extra time. Perhaps a second or two per question, but it adds up. I'm experimenting. Sometimes I feel really focused after a question and I want to go right into the next one. However, if you like a little break between questions then you might like to bubble after each.

If it slows you down to much to reach your goal (which it shouldn't) you should consider a new strategy. And it is good to have a goal in mind

I bubble after I've completed the entire section (or for Games when there's 5 minutes left). I find going back and forth breaks up my rhythm and takes me longer.

I finish most sections with 3-7 minutes left. Personally I would rather avoid making a transcription error over adding a bit more time to review. I understand how this can change from person to person.

I don't think a uniform answer can be had. If the extra increases your % correct, then bubble after every 1-2 pages. If the extra time is not as useful or transcription errors decrease your % correct, then bubble after each Q.

my option is not in the poll. I bubble after I finish the section completely.

Yeah, I meant to put that option in the poll, but I forgot.

This seems like a dangerous strategy. I guess you always finish the section each time?
