i diagrammed it as:

TTo -> M

So -MOST> M

Mo -> D

o = older

im really confused on the answer choices becuase of its language.

I don't see why you need to diagram this problem. It's actually very simple if you just think it through.

You know that some sycamores must be younger than some of the maples. You also know that all maples must be younger than all tulips. Thus, some sycamores (those that are younger than some of the maples) must be younger than the youngest tulips.
