LR on the newer test

Post by jarofsoup » Thu Apr 29, 2010 5:44 pm

I have been taking tests in the 20s and 30s and just took preptest 49 and the LR killed me. I went from a 166 to a 161(however, the raw score is exactly the same). I went from getting -2 to -4 on LR to -7 on both LR. But logic gamees were a breeze.

I think I got kind of messed up with my timing because newer LR problems do not share stimulas like the older ones and it may just be something to get used to.

Any experiences?

I actually thought the newer LR questions are a lot easier than the older ones.

I wholeheartedly agree. Incidentally, I didnt find RC from recent tests to be particularly harder than the older ones. I remember reading posts where people claimed that both have become more difficult, but now that I have experienced some of those I dont see what all the fuzz was about.
