PrepTest 41 Section 3 Q17

Post by mz253 » Sat Apr 24, 2010 5:53 pm

The correct answer is B. But my question is that the conclusion is "Autistic children can therefore now benefit ....," why do we need to make assumption that those misdiagnosed healthy children will not be unsafely treated?

The conclusion only talks about autistic children, not children who are incorrectly diagnosed with autism. The conclusion, therefore, requires no assumptions about children who are misdiagnosed with autism.
