I am aware that most prospective law students take the LSAT either at the end of his/her junior year and/or in the fall of his/her senior year. However, are there any brave souls on this forum who attempted to conquer the LSAT at an earlier date (perhaps fall of junior year or earlier)? How did you do? Any regrets?
On another note, does the LSAT bear any significance after law school? In particular, do employers ask for the lsat scores of job applicants? I would imagine law firms would take advantage of such a standardized, objective measure (especially since some top law schools are adopted the P/F grading system). I ask because I've heard that some investment banks even ask for applicants' SAT scores. Thoughts?

AFAIK, nobody cares about the LSAT after you're admitted. The LSAT is supposed to predict first-year performance. Once you have actual grades from your first year, nobody needs a predictor.JUmpJUmp wrote:I am aware that most prospective law students take the LSAT either at the end of his/her junior year and/or in the fall of his/her senior year. I took the LSAT in the fall of my Junior year. I purposely scheduled an easy semester. I took first in October and then ended up retaking in December. 164/168. I wanted to get the LSAT out of the way so I wouldn't have to worry about the test and doing my applications at the same time, and if I had to retake I didn't want it to be a time crunch.

Whatever you do, do it before you graduate. "Take the test early and bank your score." Best thing I've ever heard about taking the LSAT. Unfortunately I heard that two years too late.
