So I have been studying for a while now, doing different question types and various timed sections. So far I've been able to significantly improve on reading comp and LR ( I have no trouble getting -5 or less on these sections). However, contrary to the popular belief, I found the games quite difficult to master.
I went through the games bible. While it was helpful, I still feel like I am not there yet. Granted, some games are harder than others, and I could easily put down linear games in about 5 minutes. But with harder games I tend to spend way too much time, sometimes even without figuring out the inferences completely.
Is there anyone who's having (or had) similar problems? If you got past them, did you think that games simply started to click after many hours of hard work? My goal is upper 160s and would be nice to get to a -0 skill level.

The best thing to do for LG's is to just do a MILLION of them. It's all practice. Do at least 2 questions a day, every day. Make them fun and take them for what they are - GAMES. I know this might sound ridiculous now, but after doing this for a month, games will be ten times easier and you'll actually look forward to doing them (especially since they'll take you about 5 minutes).
Best of luck.
Best of luck.

Thanks Kiersten.
I guess i should start focusing on games more. I do think that simple grouping and basic linear games are fun. Hopefully, soon I will think of others in the same way.

When are you planning to take the test?
Aside from the Powerscore Bibles, I'm also going to be using (I'm taking the Oct. test) the LSAT Deconstructed books. En route are the 2004 (three LSATs) and 2006 (one LSAT). Basically they explain everything for each question. I plan to use it in between practice tests to help me analyze what I'm getting wrong and why. Hope this helps

What everyone here is saying is true. When I first looked at a practice test in 2008, I couldn't solve a single LG games question. Hell, I couldn't even diagram anything, including the rules. ANYBODY can master the LG. All it takes is repetition and familiarizing yourself with how to diagram rules.
