Hello everyone..need advice
My name is Sam I am 20, and I am a Junior. I have a 3.0 GPA, and after this semester it is going to be around 3.2. I think by the time I graduate I should have around a 3.4. I started at a 2.3 and had a high grade trend.
Currently I am studying for my LSAT, and the test is June 7. I study about 4-5 hours a week now, and I am getting most of it down. My school semester ends May 8. Anyone have advice for me. I want to get a 160-170 and get into Pepperdine or Loyola.
Has anyone been admitted to those schools here, and know the process and what would be ideal to get in. I have seen the LSN, but I want to hear first hand experience.
I am catholic does that help me get into pepperdine easier, or it does nothing at all.
Thanks for the help!

There's a ton of general advice just sitting around here. Check the pinned topics at the top first. Are there particular parts of the test you're having problems with? How are you scoring right now?

Just some advice: I'd edit out your real name.

First piece of advice: if you get a 160-170, don't go to Pepperdine or Loyola.

I want to go into patent law, and I am a psychology major. I heard it's a whole different bar, but what school specializes in it in California. I don't want to go to a school that's far from home and I live in Northridge.

The 160-170 range is HUGE. Thats saying you want to be anywhere from the 81st percentile to the 98th percentile...
Also patent law in California is dominated by Boalt (UBerkeley) and Stanford. UCLA and Santa Clara also have pretty good programs too.
