Enough Time To Answer Questions Forum

I took my first LSAT practice test yesterday to use as a baseline. I scored lower than I hoped I would. The biggest problem I noticed is I didn't have enough time to complete each section, especially the logic games. Of the questions I did have enough time to answer, I scored pretty well. Ironically, I expected the logic games to be my weakest section, but of the questions I had time to think through I scored much better than expected.

I've never had any problems with time on standardized tests, but this one was bad. I took it at a local coffee shop, and it was a little noisy, so that might have been a contributing factor. I did find myself reading questions several times, which is abnormal.

Has anyone had this issue before? If so, what techniques did you use to increase your speed? Also, is it safe to assume that simply working problems and being consistant with using my study material will increase my speed?

Speed will come as you continue to practice. Don't worry about it now. Just focus on accuracy in the early going.

Thanks for the links, and advice. I assumed my speed would increase as I worked more problems, but since I have not really had time issues on tests, I thought I would ask.
