Got my first -0 on a timed, first attempt LG section today!

Post by willwash » Tue Mar 02, 2010 5:08 pm

Mother fucking-fucker. Here's the story;

I do really well on RC and LR, typically -1 to -3 at worst each, which, if I could count on a similar score on LG, would easily put me into 170+ territory. Problem is, I miss 4 or more almost every time on the first attempt of a given games section and sometimes 7 or 8. I've gotten plenty of -0s with a time of 40+ minutes, or on ones I've done already, but never on time, first try. I printed out just the LGs from all 30 of the 10 Actual, Offical series plus 10 more recent LG sections from Cambridge LSAT and have gone through almost all of them, so we're talking about 35 PTs worth of LGs and I've been getting really down about it but today I finally got a -0 on time, first attempt, and on a rather recent test too. That's cause for celebration and I will be drinking tonight.

Just wanted to gloat. :lol:

EDIT: just think of the celebratory activities if I can pull that off on test day...

Haha congrats man, I hope to be at that point sometime soon. I'm still getting around -6, -10 on that damned section.

Stupid midterms/work/life getting in the way of my LSAT prep.

You're going to DESTROY the June test!

You are going over the ones you've done several times before moving on, yes?

My advice would be keep going over an LG section until you can do it in about 30 minutes at -0. Only then do the next one.
