Cambridge LSAT

Post by JDHopeful » Wed Feb 03, 2010 9:39 am

I noticed that the Cambridge LSAT site offers 4-section and 5-section tests. The 5-section test includes the experimental section, correct? And if so, is it better to order these rather than the versions with just 4 sections?

Also, do the LSATs that are on Amazon, etc. NOT include the experimental section?

I'm asking cuz I think its better to take a FULL test that includes the experimental section to keep stamina up.

Thanks!

It's not the ACTUAL experimental section, silly.

The real experimental sections are never sold with the PrepTest no matter who you're buying it from. The ones sold on Amazon are simply the 4 scored sections from that exam (the sections that really matter).

Most "5-section exams" you take for practice are created by just including a section from a really old exam. That's what Cambridge does.

Sometimes, however, a prep company will create their own (fake) LSAT section to be the experimental section. Kaplan does this for their free marketing PrepTest but includes an old section for the 5-section exams in their coursebooks.

Okay, thanks.

I didnt even think about the fact that they cant actually include the experiment section.
