pt 59 LG is this the easiest LG section EVER?

Post by bakemono » Tue Feb 02, 2010 11:37 pm

If i score a -0 on LG i'm always 172+, otherwise i could go as low as 166.

I've screwed up all of my LSAT's because of LG... i mean i bomb that sucker sometimes cause of nerves. i'm taking my last LSAT this feb. and in order to not make the same mistakes, i've made 3 copies of a copy xpress made wired book containing EVERY single LG ever from PT 1 (yeah, i have 1-6 too). I did all of them at least once, systematically getting rid of easy ones.

I only keep the interesting/hard ones which came down to approx. 48-50 games. And i made 3 books off of that which is what i'm currently working on. I don't make any stupid mistakes anymore that's for sure.

My point is this: After having done all of that and becoming a Super-Saiyan 3 LG master, i just bought 59.

Is it just me or did i study to fight Majin Buu, but King Pilaf shows up instead and with a -15 curve? Granted, i didn't do the rest of the test, but my RC's pretty damn good (-1 on PT 57 and worst is -3,-4 even in the modern tests), and my LR's pretty solid too (-3 to -5 worst).

Sorry for all the dragonball z references... it's just the most poetically accurate way of illustrating how i feel. And I'm literally running on about 10 hours of sleep in the past 4 days doing and ungodly amount of LG, so i'm slightly desensitized to everything and mumbling. mwapowierjoaehpaoejr

Actually, I had problems with number 10. Definitely befuddled me, coulda solved it with like 30 extra seconds but the shear randomness of the question was a bitch. Only question I got wrong on that section, but its still harder than the most recent logic games I think.

The LR I think was a tad harder than normal, nor did the difficulty on the LC go down.

Thank god! When I bombed LR on PT59 - I thought I just got super dumb, thankfully, it wasn't just me.

the LG on PT59 weren't too bad, although I made a REALLY silly mistake.

Seriously??? Wow, I had been getting -1, -0, and one fluke -6 (at 11pm after a long day) on the PTs 50-58. However, despite doing well on the rest of the test and not feeling abnormally tired, I got destroyed on Logic Games and didn't finish, leaving 4 blank and missing 1 that I answered.

Any explanations? I got really thrown off by the last game with the L/V_ _ V/L and T/M_ _ M/T. Can someone explain the inferences that make that one easy? Thanks.

You'll probably hate me at the end of this story, but I agree about that game. First 3 games were pretty easy, fourth...not so much. I didn't leave enough time (usually finished with 2-3 mins to spare in LG on my PTs) and scrambled to pencil in semi-educated guesses on the last 4 of the 4th game.

Then I became elated when I saw another LG section for my experimental, was positive I -0'd it, and held out hope that it was real....until I found out otherwise by reading TLS.

Score comes around, and I got 3/4 on my semi-guesses! Only -1 on LG. That plus the -14 curve made me a happy camper.
