i was looking to buy the latest preptests that i have seen mentioned on the board here(ie 40 and later) but LSAC only sells the tests up to #38 in a consolidated book format. IS there a consolidated book of the later tests like the ones LSAC offers for the older ones or am i going to end up purchasing each test individually through amazon?

There's no book after the one that goes through 38. You have to get them individually. There discounts available variously, but none as good as the "buy them in a book" one.
