PT 46 - RC 7 and 10 Forum

It seems RC is the final area I have to conquer if I'm going to come close to my hoped-for score. Couple questions here that, I am quite sure, are just me being dense

On RC 10, how is the the illustration of the first point an extended analogy? It seems more a plot summary, though the example for the second point seems closer to an extended analogy (answer D v E)

On RC 14, where is any reference made to the shunning society having religious ethics? They talk about "professed" ethics, so C would be great if not for that word "religious". What an I overlooking?
