Why do my PT scores fluctuate so much?
Can anyone suggest a good way for me to stabalize my PT scores or is it normal to flutuate by 5 to 7 points each time (goes up and down)? I take a pt each week and often even twice a week.
Also, I have been taking the older PT's (<PT40) and now I took a PT 57 and I saw and my score fell 7 points.AHHH
Thanks

the newer PT's are more reflective of the actual tests being distributed today
iunno if LR has changed much, but i think the general trend is LG got easier while RC got harder over the yrs

The curve gets tighter on the newer tests, too. Are you raw scores pretty similar but your scaled score is lower?

or just read the answer choices backward.rookhawk wrote:When you find a correct answer for LR ALWAYS check the next immediate answer because often they are written to distract you with a seemingly good answer followed up by a convoluted/wordy but better answer immediately thereafter. this seems like a surefire way to get things wrong.rookhawk wrote:Whenver you read about a reporter or member of the press, the bias is neutral to indifferent.
Whenever you read about a politician or public candidate there is a negative bias.
