Hey guys,
I need some tips on how to excel in dual passage..
For me it just seems like that it's all about short-term memory..
Whenever a question comes up and asks, which one of the following is used in the first p, but not used in the second p?, I have to go all the way back to the passage and search for the correct answer, and, of course, this does take an enormous amount of time..
Hint?hint?
any tip for dual passage? Forum

Re: any tip for dual passage?
my powerscore instructor gave us advice that has worked well for me: he said after you read passage A, go through the questions and answer questions specifically about passage A (such as what is the main point of psg A), then read passage B and answer the rest.
this way, you get a firmer hold on passage A before reading passage B. when you go to answer the questions on both passages B will be fresh in your mind and even though you didnt just read A, you will have a handle on what it said because answering the questions helps cement the ideas in your mind.
i think dual passages can be easier at times because of this method.
