Reading Material

Post by elcamino » Sat Jan 16, 2010 5:31 am

If I want to increase my reading speed and score higher on the reading comprehension section, what are some particularly good reading material? I'm looking in the long run. Will reading the Economist and WSJ daily be helpful?

I've heard people suggest that a whole bunch and the merit of its validity has been debated continuously on this board, but why not just read the actual passages from the preptests w/o doing the questions?

This might help, but honestly the best thing that you can do is practice with the passages / problems and work on increasing your reading speed in a more real-world type scenario. The problem is that you read the economist / atlantic very casually ... they are meant to be read for enjoyment!
