To call that last season a joke would be giving it too much credit, after the first 4 are some of my favorite that I've seen on TV personallyschmelling wrote:yeah that was a serious cop-outColonel_funkadunk wrote:My prep took a hiatus a couple months ago to finish decterschmelling wrote:one of the best finales in tv historyunodostres wrote:i haven't done anything today

Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
Hey there fellow September LSAT peeps, I'm currently 4 points away from my target score. Do you think it's possible to get there with 4 days of really focused studying?
My shakiest area is LG and I really feel like there's the potential for decent growth with some effort. There are some LR types it might be wise for me to focus on also. RC is what it is and it will depend on the passages I get and my level of focus, so I think I'm going to lay off studying that too much. Plus I heard it's the hardest to improve on so I'm going to focus more on where it will make the most effect.
How much do you all expect to improve your score before Saturday's test? Do you think 4 points is impossible? I'm trying to go from 167-171 btw.

Just honesty, no I do not. Even though LG is the most learnable section, I think you really need more than 4 days to significantly increase it to the point to where its CONSISTENT. I think you could easily get better at it. But not to the point to where its 100% of the timecharlie92 wrote:Hey there fellow September LSAT peeps, I'm currently 4 points away from my target score. If youre getting 6 or more wrong on LG regularly it is certainly possible. I did something similar a few weeks ago and it took me 5-6 days. I used Cambridge packets and 7sage videos.

Thanks for the honesty! I doubt I can make it also but I feel like I have to try..
My other hope is that the 167 PT is a little skewed since I was sick when I took it (today) and had to pee for the last half of section 5.. There might be a BIT of validity to this because I feel like I should have at least improved a little more than I had from the PT before. Probably just wishful thinking though.

Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
On the PT this morning I got -7 on LG (5 of them on the last game due to timing and messed up deductions) and -5, -4 on the LR sections. I got -3 on the experimental LR section. I usually do a few better on the LG than I did today.ErgoSum wrote:How many are you usually getting wrong in LR/LGcharlie92 wrote:Hey there fellow September LSAT peeps, I'm currently 4 points away from my target score. I've taken a bunch, not as many as I should. Probably around 15 in total. I've been steadily improving from a not great diagnostic. I improved one point today vs. one I took on Thursday night. But like I said, I'm hoping that part of that was I was feeling under the weather.BillPackets wrote:Wait so I mean u took 1 PT today and got a 167 and u want a 170charlie92 wrote:Thanks for the honesty! 15 is a lot of PTs! Is this your highest score?charlie92 wrote: I've taken a bunch, not as many as I should. Probably around 15 in total. I've been steadily improving from a not great diagnostic. I wouldn't suggest drilling so much LG that you neglect practicing LR and RC, as well. It sounds like you can improve upon LG with some dedicated drilling. Will it be a 4 point improvement? I'm not sure. It's worth a shot, right?
Be sure to time yourself when you do each game, so you can track your progress. If you see that you are beginning to quicken and your aren't losing points for it, that's a very good sign.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
