Retaking a 177 is impressive. Are you going to cancel if you don't feel everything is perfect or does a potentially lower score not bother you?

Retaking most of them. We did 52 tonight. I think we're gonna do 52-70 leading up to December. I'll also be doing RC drilling intermittently from the LSAT Trainer and all my experimental sections will be RC.

A 180 on 52 is nuts (well, on any PT really). And drilling RC + RC exp seems like a good idea. My October score hangs on my RC performance which is not something I feel good about but who knows.

Ya I will be applying the LSAT Trainer's methods. I have difficulty in synthesizing large amounts of information within the LSAT time constraints. I will also be summarizing a couple articles I read in the Journal each morning to try to practice.

Long day of studying, first half of the day drilled Must Be True's (about 30, 10 1's, 10 2's, 5 3's, 5 4's) and about 20 Necessary Assumptions (10 3's and 10 4's). That was from 12 to 4. Took 3 hours off to go for a run (i've slacked off and as a former college runner this has been the biggest sacrifice i've made for this exam) and grab some dinner, and then went ahead and tackled PT 61. Scored 166, my highest PT to date. Started off rocky with a -9 on RC's, but then went -4 on LR#1, -3 on LG's, and -1 on LR#2 (!!!!!!). Huge improvement in LR, unfortunately the RC threw me off but so happy about this result thus far, it's the performance I needed to finally validate my effort with reasoning.

Going to take a break and then spend about an hour today, and probably an hour during lunch tomorrow, for reviewing my PT.

But man, huge weight off my shoulder, hopefully i can bust out another big jump in 6 weeks. I think a big thing for me though this weekend is i backed off a little friday and saturday which made me feel fresher, per say. Definitely need some work to establish more consistency on RC since i fluctuated to much but i feel a lot better going forward. phew.

Guys i have a question, when you PT or drill questions by type in LR, how do you review after the blind review? Do you write down an explanation for the questions you got wrong or go over the whole thing and write down an explanation for each. Or you talk yourself through the question instead of writing/typing an explanation.

I have been writing down the question i got wrong and talking myself through the ones i had right and this takes me like a whole day to do. I just don't feel like i am being efficient because i want to finish the Manhattan LR but this process slows me down. I hope someone could give me an efficient process that has been helpful to them.

I tend not to blind review with drilling, instead spending as much time as i need to get the answer right. Whenever i blind review with PTs or sections though i'll do the section, then go back and redo anything i marked as needing to go over again, and then FINALLY afterward i write an explanation for each answer for the questions i got wrong. It's not the most efficient i guess, but its thorough.

I do them, but I don't count them toward my score.

When I blind review, I do questions I didn't finish during the blind review. When i actually grade my PT I don't count the ones I did in BR toward my raw score. But usually there's only 1-2 I leave blank on the exam at this point.

Ahh gotcha. I guess I do my BR a bit differently. I just sort of go through and see what looks attractive and what doesn't.. then I do a review w/ the key and just grade that way. i don't change my answers during BR but I star next to answers I think are more attractive than what I picked and list why.

I'm in desperate need for some advice. I'm PTing in the low 160s and it's been like a month and a half and I can't get to the mid/high-160s. I've drilled SO much LR but I still get about 5 wrong per section. However, when I'm doing blind review or just drilling level 4 LR questions, I get about 90% of the questions right. I'd say I have a pretty decent grasp of question types and how to approach them so the problem seems to be when I'm actually taking the test-- I just can't execute. Any suggestions/recs from personal experience? I'm thinking of taking like a week of PTing, like 5 tests in a row (one per day) to see if it helps with my stamina. Most PTs I've taken have been about a week apart. Thanks in advance for any help.
