Fuck the LSAT! I swear, I am going to prove that LSAT does not mean shit by destroying my first year of law school.

Congragulations/ consolences/ best of luck to those still awaiting.
I would add that those that are not fully happy with their scores to forget about the lsat for a while. take a week and go enjoy yourselves. If your actual score is a few points lower than your pt average, then i wouldnt worry about it too much. Its very common to perform slightly worse on the actual thing than on your practice tests. Remember a 165 is pretty close to the 90th percentile. While you are not happy about the score, take heart in knowing that you did better than 90% of all test takers in the last 3 years. Its not a top score by tls standards, but its a great score compared to the majority of the test takers.

Is it bad that I am just oddly satisfied with my 170?
I've ALWAYS done way better on PTs than either of my test scores indicate, but at this point, a score > 171 would've meant I would've been tempted to take a year off and reapply.
And I'm glad I don't have that option now.

Re: The Official February 2011 Waiting Thread
I received my score ~1 hour ago. 162.
I completely bombed the logic games section (pure guessing on 6/educated guessing on 8.) I was very surprised by my score.
My October score was a 157.
While this is not what I wanted it is a good score (top 86%.) It will open up new doors and drastically increase my aid from old schools.
My guess: A relatively easy curve?
Good luck to everyone else.

165 in October.
169 in December.
Up 16 points from my diagnostics.
Almost cried on the phone just now with my Dad.
edit: I also felt I underpreppared for this test compared to past tests and thought I bombed the first section and for sure got <165. Shows how much you know on test day.

161. Up 6 points from my 155 but lower than I was hoping for.
I'm happy and sad at the same time haha (mostly happy I think?). Considering a retake but not sure.
Congrats to those who got what they wanted and condolences to those who didn't!

The good thing about the June one is that it's in the afternoon! Works WAY better with my sleep schedule.paul34 wrote:Pleasye wrote:161. Up 6 points from my 155 but lower than I was hoping for.

Congrats Pleasye. I'll be joining you in June if you decide to retake then.

I'm totally a morning person and predict if I retook in June my score would go down.she&him wrote:The good thing about the June one is that it's in the afternoon! Works WAY better with my sleep schedule.paul34 wrote:Pleasye wrote:161. Up 6 points from my 155 but lower than I was hoping for.

I'm feeling pretty relieved right now.
Now to start shopping my resume out to test prep companies!

Is there some way i should bring my new score to the attention of the schools i applied to, or is that not necessary?

They see it pretty quickly, Zooey. I'm going to call the schools that have me on hold tomorrow just in case, but in October, I started getting new fee waivers and other mail from schools 2-3 days after I got my score.

Ahhh 155. Definitely retaking and considering Fall 2012. I know logical reasoning killed my score. What has helped you guys prepare for this section? I really could use help.
