Start emailing schools about fee waivers now. We'll get them. RZ if I remember you GPA right, you'll get great scholarships from better than Cornell probably. You're golden right now, congrats.RZ5646 wrote:I screwed up the first LR too. Only thing I'm unhappy with is that first LR but whatever. I think being over both of Cornell's 75 and URM should get me a fully or pretty close and at the end of the day that's all I really need.
Are you set on HYS now?
H would certainly be nice, but then I notice that I'm checking my bank account to see if I have enough money to pay for LSAC's CAS thing, and I realize that a T20 full ride would probably be a better choice. Cornell is actually one of my top choices, so if they offer me a full scholly or close to it, I could very well end up there with you.

About 5 less than expected.
Kindaaaa disappointed, but I'm a black male so I'm not trippin too hard. No HYSC with a 3.2, buuut hopefully NYU or if I'm lucky Penn will show mercy.

I don't have it in me to retake in December, even though I could. Maybe Feb, but I need a break to hang out with my wife and son.gamerish wrote:Thanks! If you retake, I hope you can hit the 171+ you wanted. I haven't decided. Do you just cold email admissions@law.whatever.edu and ask for one? And thanks a lot man... Yep, like well over all 75ths. But my softs aren't great and supposedly more people are applying this year, so I'm trying to stay sober and not get my hopes too high.gamerish wrote:You have a very solid GPA, don't you? Email scores saying "Hey my name is blah blah, my LSAC account # is whatever and my GPA and LSAT are whatever and I was wondering if I could get a merit fee waiver. Thank you for your time, blah blah." Clean it up but something like that.

Fee Waiver Request Email:Re: Application Fee Waiver
Hello,
I have a quick question – I was wondering if School X offered merit-based application fee waivers, and if I would qualify for one. My information is:
LSDAS GPA: x.xx
LSAT SCORE: xxx
LSAC ACCOUNT NUMBER: Lxxxxxxxx
Thank you for your time,
Hopeful Law Student
Also thanks for the encouragement above! I'm really hoping this cycle goes well for both of us.

At a loss for what I'm supposed to do.
Signed up for Dec, but I am leading one of our university's design team and have been working 12 hours a day for the past two weeks just trying to meet our Dec deadline. I have absolutely no fucking clue whatsoever how I'm going to do this while preparing for LSAT.
Worst thing is that having a non-disclosed test means I don't even know how I screwed up this badly.
