Hey if we're in the middle of this current cycle, does anyone know if our new lsat scores are automatically forwarded to schools we've applied to/been accepted into/been wait listed at? Or do we need to provide them with an email update?

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS GREY CONFIRMED!!!!
Im VERY MUCH wondering the same thing, but I have reason to believe they do know and have been holding out for my February score. I got a thousand "good luck on the LSAT!" emails , and I probably checked a box when I registered allowing schools to see my gpa and lsat status. So if you were getting similar emails, it is likely that they know.TetrisBlock wrote:When I applied I had already signed up for the February test so they could see it, but if I had applied before signing up for it I do not believe they would have seen it. I could be wrong, but I think the only way they would know about it then would be if they requested your scores from LSAC again. I had several schools email and say they're waiting for the February LSAT result.jam313 wrote:I was under the impression the score would automatically be reported to schools waiting on it. I had sent an email to an admissions officer to hold my account until my Feb score posted and she replied:Rstein888 wrote:163, 8 point jump. I know most of you would be disappointed but I am thrilled! Is there a proper way to write an e-mail basically saying:
Dear University of __________,
I previously applied to your law school and asked you to hold my file until I received my new score. I am pleased to let you know that I received a 163 on the February 2015 LSAT. I look forward to hearing from your school!
Thanks and best regards,
"As this is a very busy time, and many people are submitting applications at the same time, I am sure your February score will have been reported by the time your file is ready for review."
I've also done extensive research on this, and while I've generally come up empty-handed, it seems the consensus is that LSAC won't go out of their way to tell schools you've already applied to that you have now registered for the LSAT again, but they will (on their own accord) send a new report AFTER the fact. That seems to be the consensus, but I have no experience in this and it directly affects me as well.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS GREY CONFIRMED!!!!
If it were between September-December-February with their short times separating the tests I would say just retake if you're neurotic and still want to study (I did), but since June is farther away I would recommend retaking if you can be relaxed about it and only study a small amount, consistently. Going hard for that time would probably be bad, but if you can just do an hour a day or just one practice test a week and review it, you would likely have the same skill you had now and might just perform better. The weeks before the test you can always cram of course.Lextor wrote:Argf. I said I would retake if I got 164 or below and I'd be set with 167 or higher. 165/166 were grey zone scores. And that's what I got. Not sure what to do now :/

Agreed! I love that you are taking the time to respond to so many, whether they were happy with their scores or not.crazyhazy wrote:evergreen I think you are the sweetest person on this thread. This was my first rodeo. Was testing low 170s so kind of dissappointed but it's hard to simulate the real deal.. This definitely felt tougher than PTs.
Good luck to everyone else! Ty so much to the contributors of this thread. Really helped the time fly--sorry for not contributing early. Maybe I'll stick around for the June retake thread

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS GREY CONFIRMED!!!!
157 in September, 165 Feb. Had PTed a few times in the 170s and was really hoping for that. I had some sort of mental slip and fell behind time in LR1 that I hoped wouldn't but feared would cost me. Nonetheless, I am proud of the improvement.
I wanted to quickly thank everyone in this thread. I did not post too often, but just from perusing around you all kept me sane through countless hours of studying and motivated when I wanted to take it easy. And, honestly, if not for my seeing how hard everyone else was working I highly doubt I would have increased to this point (even if it is below what I was hoping for).
Anyway congrats to everyone who has achieved the scores they wanted and worked so hard for, and best of luck to those retaking.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS GREY CONFIRMED!!!!
Ah! Just got mine in while typing the last post! I went down by 3. Third take. First was highest. I predicted as much because I screwed up the last game. I remember the frustration on test day where I felt like the test was easier than normal and this was my chance. It looks like it was true. If only I hadn't screwed up the games.
Oh well, I'm happy with my school choices, just disappointed with my performance.
