I'm pretty sure it was RC because I remember the first passage(I think) mentioning the black swans and white swanscandidlatke wrote:Sera Numquam wrote:RC!candidlatke wrote:when people are referring to the black swan question
was that LR or RC?

One of you is right and one of you is trolling and this is scaring me.
Though I think (hope) it was just RC now that I'm reading through more posts

They post the answer sheet, but I'm not sure if they post the questions you got wrong. I assumed you'd have to buy it.RZ5646 wrote:I think they even show you what questions you missed, right? Finished all of the questions, so I'm hoping everything will work out...
When we get results, will we know how many we missed from each section? Or just the overall score?
I brute forced through too. Well, I didn't really brute force, finished the fourth, came back and changed three answers. And one on game 2, I think. All I def would've gotten wrong

It's definitely RC. It was the passage that also talked about Mercury and Uranuscandidlatke wrote:Sera Numquam wrote:RC!candidlatke wrote:when people are referring to the black swan question

Can a retaker say whether you get a PDF of the test with your score report? If I have to pay $10 to find out what I missed, I'll be mad

Everyone who didn't have LR as their experimental: you definitely don't remember a question about ancient Asian artifacts from a gold mine, right?

You get a pdf listing your answer choices and what the credited responses are. side by side. I'm not sure you get a copy of the test. You also get to see your writing sample.

No copy of the test, FYI. But yes, a copy of the writing section so you can laugh at how fried your brain was when you wrote that "essay."splittermcsplit88 wrote:You get a pdf listing your answer choices and what the credited responses are. side by side. Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
I 100% agree, I would ride it out. You have absolutely nothing to lose. You're out of retakes anyways, and it doesn't seem like your score will be too much lower than 162, if lower at all. There are plenty of people who walk out of the test "knowing" they scored x, and end up with a much higher score than expected. You don't want to cancel that 170... Ride it out, no upside to cancelling.lalaland123 wrote:PatriotP74 wrote:lalaland123 wrote:Hey guys... Turns out I too misread the rule in game #3. So I need some advice - I have no idea if I should cancel or not. I already have a 162 on a previous test but was PTing consistently in the 170's so I retook. Anyway, seeing that I know I messed up that game (and can only pray I got some right in that game despite that mistake) and I also ended up guessing on the last 4 questions on RC (but otherwise found that section manageable), I have no idea what to do. I felt okay with LR and know I got 100% of the questions right in the games section, aside from game #3, but I honestly cannot do worse than my previous score. Also, I cannot retake again. Any advice??
If it was your 3rd take I don't see a reason to cancel, worst case it ends up worse than your high and you apply with a 162 or take a year or two off to retake again. Either way the worst case is applying with a 162/sitting out. If you got lucky and end up with anything greater than a 162 (which is entirely possible seeing as you are looking at what like 9 questions you were uncertain of) then you apply with a better score. I see no benefit in cancelling.
Hey thank you so much for your reply! Does anyone else anyone else agree? I am just so worried and don't know what is best. I am also currently just so incredibly bummed because just like all of you, I worked my ass off. And I never miss a question in a games section. Ultimately, it would just be a bummer for this to really make or break my score. Additionally, I was very nervous during the test so I could have made some dumb mistakes here or there without realizing. So I don't know if it is better to cancel or gamble and potentially do worse...

They give you a PDF with all the correct answers and what you put down for each. You also get PDFs of each section to review.RZ5646 wrote:Can a retaker say whether you get a PDF of the test with your score report? If I have to pay $10 to find out what I missed, I'll be mad

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Oh my god, looking at this thread is making me insane! Haven't checked it for about 24 hours, read through it, and now I'm second guessing myself on Game 3 where everyone think they misread the rule. Now I have no idea whether I did the game right or not...the whole test seems like a blur.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
