Anyways I'm in a similar boat (the only PT I haven't done is Feb 1997). However, a lot of the PTs I haven't done as actual PTs and instead just did as drilling - I did a BP course to prep for the June course but then got the Cambridge packets for Oct and Dec.

So IMO if you have any PTs like that (that you've maybe seen the problems before but not as a full PT) I would do those as your timed PTs. I think it also makes it even more important to BR and really understand the questions so well that you can teach them to others (both TCR and the incorrect answer choices).

Whats the bolded?! Link to where I can buy this please?! I've seen the others.

Yeah I think you're right, I'm focusing mostly on reviewing and stuff for sure.

hmm may just focus on the other PT's I have even though I've seen them all. I still have a lot to improve on.

When I say to you guys that I honestly do not believe I suck at games, but got -9 on October, do you guys think I'm just deluded? My PT range for games was -4 to sometimes even -10. I've drilled sooo much, I'm not sure if I freeze up completely with new games or what. I'm not really sure how to fix an issue like this, games is really a unique problem for me in that sense which is only made worse by others tlser's dominating it so consistently , lol.

Which strategy system are you using (e.g., Blueprint, Manhattan, Powerscore)? It might be a little late to switch it up, but reading another perspective might help.

I personally use Blueprint and I really, really believe in their methods. Including the Oct test, my last five or so PTs have been -0 in about 30 minutes on LG using exclusively their methods. I know that they have a standalone LG book on amazon that you could probably get through in a couple weeks.

You could also do some Sudoku on the side. Don't do the tough puzzles, but the easy and medium are useful for LSAT studying IMO. It uses the same kind of deductive thinking.

I used blueprint. I have not read the book for a while though, I saw manhattan and have the trainer as well. I think BP was the best honestly for LG specifically.

I'm guessing you think I should read back through BP? Honestly, you may be right but I read through the index and all I think to myself is "I KNOW HOW TO DO ALL OF THIS". Again, I'm not sure if I'm just being deluded but score swings like mine in LG cannot be a sign having a section down pat. LR and RC fluctuate much less for me.

I recognize whether its Ordering, Grouping, or neither, but from there I don't really break it down any further (i.e. this is an overbooked grouping game). Maybe those categories are still in the back of my mind, but at least consciously I just focus on visually representing the game, making deductions and breaking them into scenarios if I think there might even be a chance that it will help. I also sometimes do what Mint was just talking about - filling out one possible way the game could work out.

Its also important with games to eliminate incorrect ACs, unless its a must be true type thing. Once I started eliminating wrong ACs with more authority I became more consistent on games.

Yeah, if I'm over the 75 I'm gonna do it. I think it is really gonna help me going in knowing that this test won't completely bone me if all goes bad (even though I need a higher score). I always do better with a dgaf attitude. Plus, depending on the $$$ I might just end up going there anyways.

HYS and B don't do merit waivers so it's out of 10 really (not trying to be an ass, just thought you should know in case you don't).

I've found that thinking of necessary assumptions as something that needs to be limited in scope seems to help. So if you're thinking about two answers on that type of question go with the one that has a limited range.in that way it's similar to most strongly supported questions. The opposite is true for SA. Look for answers that have a large scope. Also, for NA questions I hated doin the negation technique because it just didn't click for me. Instead, I do a variation of it in the sense that I choose an answer, and once I have, I look back to see if some part of the premise of the missing link in the stimulus is virtually a restatement of some part of my answer choice. If it is, I pick it and move on. For me, it almost never fails.

every time I hesitate to drop more money on LSAT material I remind myself I haven't/won't spend nearly as much as someone who paid for a prep course.
