Sat for the test today. I'm honestly lost and don't know if I want to cancel or not. Pretty sure I didn't hit 169 or above. And I'm contemplating if I want to drink with my friends or save the brain cells that I have so I can reload for December. Life is hard

That's awesome! We can keep each other motivated!nlee10 wrote:Nice. I'm pretty much in the same course! Taking PT 61 tomorrow! Any other takers?
I took 61 today (first day of blueprint course) and had a great day in LR (for me)! -2 and -3! But I got a -4 on LG!! Uggghhh. Never happens! It's normally my -0 that I can count on. But today I was slower than normal and didn't get to two questions, I misread one question, and got one question flat out wrong. And then there was reading comp (-8) One day I'll break that 170 mark!!

Call me crazy but I feel excited to start the class. I've been self-studying since July with no real motivation. lol. Decided to call it a day today after doing like 7 RC passages. Might as well treat diag test tomorrow like the real deal.MEAhrnsbrak wrote:

Those numbers look fantastic! I hope we all hit our targets in December and get accepted to our dream schools.

Yeah it's tempting! Although my apt lease and gym membership ends next september. But I'm sure I can eat up the cost of two months' worth to start law school a year earlier. LOL

I continually see these numbers being posted, and I have a pretty good gist of their importance towards the likelihood of being accepted during a given cycle with a specific lsat/gpa, but do you mind explaining it in a bit more detail for me please?Dirigo wrote:http://i61.tinypic.com/2v2i7q0.jpg

side note: hi everyone, took the lsat today, if I did better than I expected then I will happily (and sadly) disappear from this thread. If I did as I expected, or worse, then I shall be joining you guys in the retaking fight. Good luck to everyone.

lol. It's okay. We still got time! Speaking of Flaw drilling....mist4bison wrote:Drilled 80 flaw questions today and missed 3. Was a little upset, because they were only level 1 questions, but I guess it's an ok start for my first time drilling flaw.
I did 25 Level 1 Flaw Questions like 3 weeks ago (Every other odd) and got a 15/25.
Did another 25 Level 1 Flaw Questions (EOE) yesterday and got a 24/25.
Moving in the right direction!

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Thanks! tbh, I don't mind drilling for LR because I've been responding really well. Compared to RC questions, even if I get a question wrong, majority of the time, upon review I'll understand why I got it wrong and why TCR is correct. Whole different story with RC....Dirigo wrote:That's awesome! I love when I can see tangible improvement like this in my own studying. Keep up the good work!nlee10 wrote:lol. It's okay. I'm just going to start drilling LG as a supplement with the Blueprint Course since I'm starting that next week. I am confident I can get my LG down to -0 to -3 by December.

Not crazy at all. I'm excited to start the class as well. I'm hoping the class will add structure to my studying, help me master the basics, and help me identify and target my weaknesses.nlee10 wrote:Call me crazy but I feel excited to start the class. This is definitely awesome! Originally when I started studying my hopes were to get into a top 25 as I am a splitter and didn't think I'd have a chance at a T14 without acing the LSAT. Now that I'm dangerously close to that 170 and the applicant pool is thinning down, I find myself realistically looking at Cornell and Northwestern and hoping for Columbia and NYU versus in the past I couldn't even phathom having an opportunity at those schools. Excited to put in the hard work and make those dreams a reality!!thelincolnlawyer wrote:This is awesome, especially for people hoping to be splitters like myself. Great news about the decline in test takers yesterday. Let's hope the same happens on December. PT 55 on the 11th works great for me too

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Hey all,
I unfortunately am looking at retaking in December. Do you think I ought to start over on my drilling packets? I got to tier 3 problems in the LR packets and tier 3/4 in logic games. I finished almost all of the reading comprehension drilling packets.
I'm also considering enrolling in the Velocity LSAT course.
