any idea when the numbers will be released?

If you really wanted to figure it out you could always use the way back machine to see when that link usually gets updated relative to the release date.

I assume it's because the smarter kids (and by extension, the ones who would score those higher LSAT scores) are the ones that are

a) more aware that law school is becoming a worse and worse bet.
b) more likely to get better jobs that would keep them from going to law school.

Better jobs like what? Pretty sure hiring is down across the board for high paying jobs

Someone who could've gone into consulting decides to go to law school pre-2008. Now they're sticking with the former instead of going to Yale or whatever. Trickle-down.

LSAC said that they were delayed due to the storm, but they're aiming to have it up by the end of this week.

Eh...I don't think the smartest kids are choosing to go into finance and consulting any more now than they were during or before the downturn. It's just not as easy of a decision as it used to be. There are far fewer spots available with layoffs seemingly every quarter, the public has vilified us, and compensation is abysmal compared to pre-crisis levels, while working the same grueling 100 hour weeks.

Wow, that was also well before June 2006 when schools started reporting the highest score.

I'd imagine there's a lot more retakers nowadays. Not sure what to make of that though.

Definitely. We're rapidly approaching the point where the number of applicants is in line with the number of open seats.
