It is still a score most of you would look at and start shouting "Re-take!", but I'm in the very fortunate position to have an offer in hand from my current BL firm. I'm a Corporate Paralegal and the deal is that I have a guaranteed job as an Associate waiting for me provided that I enroll in a part-time program, graduate, and pass the bar exam for the state to which I'll be moving.
My September write was an abysmal mess, as I went through a terrible family issue the night before that rocked me to my core.
When I opened my email tonight, I broke down in tears of joy. Barring something egregious on my application, I'm getting into the PT program to which I applied and I can go through law school knowing that I have a BigLaw job waiting for me on the other end.
To all of you: It's all about keeping things in perspective. Do what is right and best for you.
