I'll stick - not even sure if I'll apply anywhere. Kind of decided to take the LSAT on a whim that I may want to apply, studied for 5 months but have now begun the CPA program, so I'll probably just stick to CPA, maybe do a CFA later in life and call 'er a day haha. I had a dream of taking a nice scholarship down to the states though, really wish I could have pulled off a 172+ICANDOIT wrote:204Wpg wrote:167![]()
Pretty brutal to accept given my lowest PT was 168 and average was 173. Went -5 on LG and only didn't go perfect on those twice through about 15 PTs. I didn't think it was going to be great, but this is below what I was hoping for, for sure.
okay, I have a friend at a top law school. Whenever I would tell her these things (similar to your pt's) she would say: you have a bad understanding of what a good score is. SO I know we are the toughest critics of ourselves but in the scope of things a 167 is not so bad.
I know that here at tls we are all aiming high.
Will you retake or stick?

I can't look.

I need to prepare myself incase it's bad and part of my soul will be gone forever and I will never be as happy as I could have been. I need to hang onto my life as it is now a little bit longer.

It is still very possible to get scholarship money with a 167. I know. Depends how much and where you wanna go

Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
I don't want to be a downer, but I don't think hand scoring would help you in this case. I believe they will not mark correct any line that has more than one answer choice bubbled in. Plus, there is no proof that you intended to mark the correct answer choice for each question, rather than reversing them (e.g. marking B/E when E/B was correct). I'm not an expert, though - I hope things work out well for you regardless.amd3_3 wrote: So it turns out I got #18 and #19 wrong on LR#2. I did not put any answer on line 18 and put two on line 19. I put "B" and "E" on line 19.
What are the chances this can be revised with hand scoring? One more point is all I need and would happy to split the difference with them....
Has anyone heard of this in the past?

Just got my score. Really, really delighted. Won't be retaking. +8 pt increase from my first take, so if anyone feels unhappy with their score right now, know that you CAN improve on a retake.
