A. they try to do as bad as possible
B. they are illiterate
C. they are legit dumb, like certifiably or something
D. all of the above
E. (from post after this one) dumb and totally doesn't know how to bubble (still might beat a 130 though)

Waiters are you studying for September in the event you bombed June? If you are I would advise against it, the month-long break from LSAT does wonders.

forum_user wrote:Okay this is going to come off as maybe a little dickish but I want to try to do this respectfully; also Top Law Schools so go figure. Basically, how does anyone get a 120 on this test? I'll explain:
So 1% of test takers get a 127 or below; see this really interesting graph (that I pulled from Spivey's blog, but it looks like it was originally an LSAC publication--side note, LSAC have tons of interesting data and publications on their website, highly recommend if you're into that kind of stuff):
- [+] Spoiler

http://blog.spiveyconsulting.com/know-y ... rcentiles/
Anyways, there's nothing wrong with getting a bad score--it happens, and god bless 'em, some people in this world just aren't cut out for the LSAT because it privileges a certain set of skills that certainly not everyone has (or has access to--separate discussion). To get a 127 or below you typically get fewer than 22 questions right. And on average if you literally bubble in all of one letter for the entire test you'll get 20-21 correct. But if you were going to go through all the trouble of taking the test, why not just try? Are there really 1000 people per year who just say fuck it? Maybe there are, but I just can't imagine paying $200 dollars and devoting at least one entire day to this test just to completely waste it.
Am I just missing something here?
TL;DR seems statistically impossible to get a 120, do you think people simply give up on the test after spending the time and money on it?
It could be people who need it totally, misbubble, don't follow the instructions, etc. People who stop working or get sick and don't cancel their score, etc.

I'm not. If I end up retaking in Sept I basically won't do any prep whatsoever between now and then.
The mental break between the December exam and February when I started studying again basically automatically bumped my avg score up 10 points.
Studying the LSAT right now would be so cruel

this is a terrible idea imo
everything else u said makes sense, and a break is def crucial, but to just go in September with no prep since this test is silly

*Basically* no prep. Not
no prep. I would do some PTs to get back into the swing of things. But I've maxed out on PTs (twice over) and have fairly consistently PT'ed in or above the score I want. So there ain't much more prep for me to do.
Here's hoping I don't need to retake tho.

I guess I just gotta sit tight for the score. The proctor timing failure shitshow at my test basically means that whatever I score I get, it could have/should have been higher if I had the full time to do it. So that's annoying AF and a large reason why I might retake.
BUT enough about the LSAT.........
we should get all our CAS and app fees waived. at minimum.

In no particular order (because your LR#1 may have been someone else's LR#3)...
LR - A
25 Qs
SCORED
City of Troy / Illiad
2 people / Quality of film critic
300 people respond / sample of 5,000
LR - B
26 Qs
SCORED
Brabblers / Birds
Warm Sea / Jupiter's Moon Europa
World Literature / National Interest
Iron / Parkinson's
Juries / Scientific evidence in trial
LR - C
? Qs
EXPERIMENTAL NO. 1
Water heater / coffee
LR - D
? Qs
EXPERIMENTAL NO. 2
Koalas
texting / morse code
septic tanks / biochemicals
Chinese characters
Alright mofos.. you got me to bite and create an account. I had A,B, and D (as you refer to them) in the order of LR LG LR LR RC. Did you or anyone else who had D, which the consensus believes was the experimental, finish with a lot of time left? I remember thinking my experimental was very easy and also had unusually long stimuli.
I also thought the RC was pretty easy except for a few of the clay token questions.
