totally bittersweet, but ultimately depressing, pt today....just finished and im really disappointed. went -1 on lg for the first time ever with 5 minutes to spare. mind you lg is the one thing ive done the least. 90% of my effort the past month has been on lr and i bombed it. -5 and -10!!!!! never done that bad on a section before in my life. got to the last section and was just like "duhhhhhhhhh......i guess this one looks right" the whole time. time is a serious fkin issue..goin wayy to slow. ive only gone up 3 points from my cold (158-->161) after probably 150 hours of prep and im starting to wonder if its in the cards or not. law schools starting to look like a pipe dream for me.

It's not June yet. You'll be fine, but stay positive. There'll be plenty of time for freaking out and second-guessing in the June waiting thread.

And drinking. Lots of drinking.

sorry for being such a downer and all...obviously this mind set is going to get me nowhere. really trying to turn this into a positive right now lol...use it as motivation i guess.

achilles bro, just do the tests and use your brain to solve them, not manhattan's. you never know what your brain is capable of...i feel like on this forum there is so much emphasis placed on conforming to learning certain strategies when you might actually learn better if you attack PTs on your own

no joke...i did better on lr on my cold...i think im just gonna start deconstructing shit on my own and not conforming to any prescribed way of doing things.. what works for me is what works for me. well im havin a drink and picking up the prep hard again tomorrow. i think im psyched again lol.

Really back to the basics. Actively look for subject shifts in the premise and conclusion. Make sure the author didn't assume that because one way works to arrive at a conclusion, that it is the only way to do so. Ask what didn't the author consider/account for...Good group here, you got this.

how does tinychat work? Is it as interactive or basically typing throughout to communicate? Having audio would be awesome. I know Manhattan LSAT offered their online classrooms to set up review sessions back in the day.

You can cam/audio in addition to text. When I said review, I meant getting onto Tinychat and going over questions with each other, so camming would be legit.

Killing hybrid games this morning. After class I'll be knocking out LR and RC timed sections from Preptest 29. Making my way through 29-38 this week to be ready for the first preptest next week.

I am someone who has to put up with a lot of anxiety, and it tends to screw me up. So while I have studied a lot, I would like to use two chances to make sure everything is good.

Hopefully wont. I am pretty sick of that library at this point, the lights and the smell.

Great work. 172 was my PT peak last year, so I'm expecting a sub-170 on my first take in a few weeks.

So apparently it is possible to improve in RC Ladies/Gents. I think it was just last week when I was around -10 to -13 per (maybe I was tired from work, but that def wasn't the only issue. I was struggling...BADLY). Drilled it hard for a week maybe, including the weekend and my last 2 sections have been -6, and -5. By far the best I've had. May be a bit early to start celebrating since I've only done 2 full timed sections, but going from -13 to -6 is no small feat.

I recently started reading this bio called "Sergio" (really dry piece of work) on the bus rides to and from work. I think thats helped a lot in addition to the advice from many of you all.
