Might see if I can go PT in there, but it's also a classroom, and I have no idea what the class schedule is like.
It would be pretty weird to be halfway through LR2 and have a engineering class start sitting down around you.
Maybe the building is open? I've never even tried. Maybe Mr. Grey's ID will open the door...

On my break from PT68. I felt that LSAC was truly taunting us/me/original test-takers by sticking in a question about crying & stress.

on that note, there is a question on preptest C from the superprep book where one of the answer choices is something along the lines of "the doctor overlooks that it's all futile because humanity goes extinct eventually". THANKS FOR REMINDING ME THAT IN THE LONG RUN WE'RE ALL DEAD, LSAC, REALLY NEEDED THAT.hetookmetoamovie wrote:On my break from PT68. I imagine that LSAC writers are just grim, underemployed ABDs/PhDs. That reminds me-- I read this amusing piece in McSweeney's that reminded me of you: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/note ... h-of-deathhereisonehand wrote:on that note, there is a question on preptest C from the superprep book where one of the answer choices is something along the lines of "the doctor overlooks that it's all futile because humanity goes extinct eventually". There is a topic on TLS somewhere that links to an interview with a former LSAT question writer, from which I learned that one needs to have a PhD in order to be able to become a freelance test question writer, so no ABDs. But having finished and being underemployed is, at least in certain respects, more grim than being ABD - at least those I know who left w/o finishing typically have taken such a blow to their self-respect that they consider their situation to be entirely befitting their capabilities, whereas those who finished expect more, and thus are more deeply disappointed when the world doesn't play ball.
eta: but in a different respect, giving up is more grim. but either way, one should expect nothing but the worst from the crushed souls of LSAT question writers. If it came with benefits, I would consider applying!

If I were a bigger person, I'd feel more pity for the University of Colorao Animal Behavior PhD roaming LSACs corridors.
