No but I'm super fucking jealous you're in London if that helps.
haha well I just flew in a few days ago and have mainly been finishing up prep so I haven't been able to actually do much so far. I'm hoping to do some actual sightseeing/touristy things tomorrow though! Now if only I could figure out which section was experimental on my test so I can stop freaking out about it... :(
Did you just move there or were you like lol might as well take the test in London?!

And yeah I guess international tests are undisclosed or what have you? So you won't be able to know what your experimental was? Someone feel free to fact check me on that...
Haha pretty much the latter. I applied this cycle and am volunteering in Greece for a few months but decided to retake about a month and a half ago to see if I could improve my score (for waitlist prospects and possibly to reapply next cycle) and since there wasn't a center in Greece I decided to use the opportunity to get away for a week and have a couple days after in London rather than set up a private test where I'm based.

And yeah I think you're right. I think that the Europe centers all give the same test but I haven't seen many on TLS in the past so I'll probably just have to live with not knowing till I get my score.

Hey all,

#1 Pie, obviously

#2 I think some of us folks with 3 LRs are still struggling to piece together which section was the experimental given that it looks like there were two different experimental LR sections / post-test&hangover brain. Can anyone confirm / correct / complete the info below?

ALSO: Mods, apologies if this breaks rules, I'm hoping we're in the clear given that it's just aggregation of data across a few forums?

In no particular order (because your LR#1 may have been someone else's LR#3)...

LR - A
25 Qs
SCORED

City of Troy / Illiad
2 people / Quality of film critic
300 people respond / sample of 5,000

LR - B
26 Qs
SCORED

Brabblers / Birds
Warm Sea / Jupiter's Moon Europa
World Literature / National Interest
Iron / Parkinson's
Juries / Scientific evidence in trial

LR - C
? Qs
EXPERIMENTAL NO. 1

Water heater / coffee

LR - D
? Qs
EXPERIMENTAL NO. 2

Koalas
texting / morse code
septic tanks / biochemicals
Chinese characters

Don't know how you guys remember so many questions.
I had 3 LR sections, 25,26,26. The last section had an EXCEPT question with minimum wage, and also a political question with rainy days. Was the babblers question in the same section? I really didn't give this much thought because I thought that the experimental for the most part is usually given before the break so I figured my last LR section is definitely one of the two that's counted. But now I'm thinking that babblers may have been in my second LR, so perhaps the two that counted I took before the break?

Okay this is going to come off as maybe a little dickish but I want to try to do this respectfully; also Top Law Schools so go figure. Basically, how does anyone get a 120 on this test? I'll explain:

So 1% of test takers get a 127 or below; see this really interesting graph (that I pulled from Spivey's blog, but it looks like it was originally an LSAC publication--side note, LSAC have tons of interesting data and publications on their website, highly recommend if you're into that kind of stuff):
[+] Spoiler
Image
http://blog.spiveyconsulting.com/know-y ... rcentiles/
Anyways, there's nothing wrong with getting a bad score--it happens, and god bless 'em, some people in this world just aren't cut out for the LSAT because it privileges a certain set of skills that certainly not everyone has (or has access to--separate discussion). To get a 127 or below you typically get fewer than 22 questions right. And on average if you literally bubble in all of one letter for the entire test you'll get 20-21 correct. But if you were going to go through all the trouble of taking the test, why not just try? Are there really 1000 people per year who just say fuck it? Maybe there are, but I just can't imagine paying $200 dollars and devoting at least one entire day to this test just to completely waste it.

Am I just missing something here?

TL;DR seems statistically impossible to get a 120, do you think people simply give up on the test after spending the time and money on it?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
