I am interested in the Trainer --> Manhattan progression. Are you using 1-38/whatever for drilling and then 39- current for PT's? Or some other combination?
yup, 1-38 for drilling and using the rest for PTs.

Also, do you mind me telling me where you get your drilling packets from? Are these the "questions by type" packets? I've been reading that those Cambridge Packets are no longer available, so I'm wondering if you have those or another type of drilling packet?

I use Cambridge packets. I would try to find a copy online (LEGALLY, OF COURSE, I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL)

Had an interesting study day. I may have taken a nap about 5 minutes into studying this morning.
I was much better in the afternoon, but I studied at someone's house and they all just stared at me. It was kind of awkward.

Please excuse the incompetence, but I am having a hard time confirming what these Cambridge drilling packets are that people keep referring to. Are these what everyone is referring to?

Are there ways to replicate what types of questions are in those packets? Like those provided by Mike Kim's website (http://www.thelsattrainer.com/trainer-q ... kdown.html).

Yes, those are the Cambridge Packets. Mike Kim's question breakdown will work. The Cambridge packets just have a ton more questions already broken down by type, but as you can see they are quite expensive now.

In other wonderful news, I just received an email telling me I enrolled in a Kaplan LSAT course that I cancelled via phone. Since I apparently enrolled in this course 2 weeks ago I am no longer eligible for a full refund, but I am entitled to "$75 per unused tutor hour." The sales rep at Kaplan confirmed I wasn't enrolled in a course 2 weeks ago, wtf.

Just did some much needed cleaning of my study area.

I have no choice but to be productive today. Need to also get ready for a two week trip (during which I will have the chance to pick up all of my much needed study materials).

Last PT was high 160s. 170s are so close. Can't slack now.

Yeah, they skyrocketed once the LSAC stopped their production. The one unused copy is selling for $4,000.00

Same thing I told BlackCanary, you know you can hit the 170s, and you have to truly believe it as well. 172-3 is right there!

Good luck guys!

I teach as well and since Monday, I'll be studying, or at least setting aside the time to study like if it was a job. Studying 9-5 M-F, 1 hour lunch break, with 15-30 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

After two weeks, I also plan to use either Saturday or Sunday to either review/drill for a couple hours, or take a PT. I'm also doing the Insanity program in the evenings :D
This week I start my internship which is minimally 9-5 M-F. I am going to wake up extra early so I can workout and do a little prep before work and then in the evenings I will try to do at least 3 hours a day, but hopefully more like 5 and then grind my ass off during the weekend. I am just going to try to get in as much as I can when the time is available. I know some days I will have more energy than others, so we will see.

Anybody working full-time like I will and have any recommendations/advice?
I'll be full-time as well, starting next week. anticipating a lot of waking up super early, going to bed super early (joy oh joy), and then a lot of lsat work in the evenings. Mornings are obviously a much more ideal time to study than evenings after a long day, but unless we plan on waking up at 4am every day, there's not much to be done there. :?
I was considering it (if I have too, I will), but thats just fucking BRUTAL.
I was thinking about doing that and setting all my clocks ahead 4 hours to give myself the illusion of having a normal schedule, but I figure a made-up time zone might be taking the "letting the lsats take over every aspect of my life" thing a bit too far.
Haha yeah thats too much, but I am going to try over the next few days different wake up times and such to see what is reasonable and works for me.

Yeah, that might be a little too far, haha. I do feel ya though, I've been thinking crazy thoughts about ways to make more time for studying. We just have to be reasonable, lest we burn ourselves out.
yeah I learned the "burn out" the hard when I took the GMAT this passed year. Everything was fine, but i was exhausted and overloaded and nearly passed out during the test.. bombed it and luckily I was able to take the test again in 2 weeks and score what I needed, but yeah don't want to burn out. Otherwise, all your hard-work is pointless.

Thats what I started doing too- I think it is going to be really helpful. How often do you repeats of LR and LG problems..Do you just blind review drilling and then like you said mark it and at some point much later you'll do the problem again or do you do what Pithy Pike's plan recommends 2-3 new games and repeats a day?

Another Saturday, another LSAT!

PT 62:

LR 1: -4
LG: - 3 (Ran out of time right before the last question)
LR 2: - 6 (Ran out of time before the last 2)
RC - 6: (5 minutes called before last passage)

Score 164.

I am a bit perplexed as to why I run out of time; during timed drilling I am always quick (2-3 minutes early, every section), but can't seen to put it together on test day. During drilling I usually mix a max of 3 during a section - super weird...

Alas, I will review and learn from my mistakes!
