leslie: if I'm in the region for the week prior, do you think it'd be okay? I was thinking: fly out of Turkey on the Sunday, 1 hr flight, and then the exam would be on the Tuesday. So I'd have 48 hrs roughly to 'get settled', not a long flight, etc. I've been thinking today that this should be okay. I don't know though -- no experience travelling + taking exam. But 48 hrs feels like solid settling in time.

My scores are too volatile for me to be comfortable to take on Sat, I think. Yesterday's PT, I went -11 on the two LR sections (prior to that, had been killing LR). And I've only recently 'turned the corner' on RC. So... anyway, haven't made a decision for sure on this Sat, but my objective PT score isn't being consistently hit...

nlee: nope, not originally from Asia, but I'm there once in awhile, so this wouldn't be too bad I guess. I think I'm more inclined to try the Turkey-region on June 8th anyway... dunno, this has really thrown a wrench into my plans.

Oh, another factor here: I'm Canadian, and will be applying to a couple of Canadian law schools. App deadlines are much, much earlier. Oct exam isn't an option.

Oh, if it's that short a flight and you'd have two days to get settled then I guess it wouldn't be so bad. Kind of like the people who travel and sleep in a hotel since they're far from a testing center here. Sounds like it's the best option if you're going to apply next year, if October is too late for Canada. And hey, when I was studying abroad I once turned in a paper I wrote entirely on the overnight bus from Amsterdam after, um, spending the weekend in Amsterdam, and that thing ended up getting the highest grade in both sections, so maybe there's something to the whole travel adrenaline thing. Maybe you'll replicate this clearly insane person's success!

Think I'm going to call it a day. Only got done maybe 20-25ish more Flaw/NA questions besides those 3 sections I did earlier today. Going to kill it on PT 71 tomorrow!

haha... I did read that blog before too.

Yeah, this sounds plausible. I hope.

Btw, how are you finding MH RC?

Only 100 pages in, but I like it so far! It's got great drills and it's good for formalizing my thought processes while reading passages, which is something that I found really useful in LR. Going to try to finish it tonight.

On break from PT 74. Finished the first three games with no problem but I didn't finish the last game in time :( Had to guess on 2-3 questions
But, of course, on an experimental games section, I finished with over 10 minutes left. What is life

^lol this is exactly what happen to me on the real 74. I was so sad when I found out the experimental LG wasn't real, because I am 100% confident I -0ed it.

This test can be so sadistic

I wish the question stem "the reasoning in the argument is fallacious because the argument" was used more often. :?

that moment you give up on a LG game after 11 min, watch the first minute of JY, pause it, and finish the game in 10 seconds... -_-

props to all of you studying while in school...working full time and studying is exhausting, but it seems impossible to try and fit all the lsat knowledge and school stuff in one brain at once. I definitely didn't try to do that, so maybe I don't have a valid arguement, but wow I can't imagine classes + prep

It's like trying to fit a big square shaped block in the small triangular hole on a box.

I think PT 55 game 4 is my least favorite LSAT game ever. It's not even one of those really hard games that gets fun when you crack the inference, it just keeps sucking no matter how many times I do it.

Just got brutalized by the last passage of reading comp on PT 71. I went -1 on LG, -0/-0 on LR, -0 on an extra section of RC, -1 on the first three RC passages from 71 and then just completely couldn't understand the last passage and missed five of the eight questions on it. I'm sure it had a lot to do with it coming at the end and being tired, but it felt terrible. I'm going to reevaluate my breaktime snack with the aim of getting a significant amount of caffeine into me. I usually like some Snapple raspberry iced tea, but maybe from now on I'll spike it with some 5 hour energy.

Ooofff the 26 question LR on PT 74 got me good.
Overall, its significant improvement from when I took it in December. I didn't remember any questions from memory so I'll take it as a morale boost :D

PS, fvck passage 4

Does anyone else get annoyed when you do really well on one PT? I feel like, "Why couldn't this have been the test I took?"

I just did PT 68 and went RC:-1 LR:-0/-4 and LG:-0

Seriously. If the test on Saturday went like that I would be sooooooo happy.

A lot of people have trouble with that passage. Its usually thought of as part of the reason the curve on that one is the way it is. So I wouldn't feel too bad about that. Getting -1 in the other three sections combined is amazing!

I do this all the time! I just did this with 67. Why didn't I think to take the LSAT in October 2012, dammit?

Thanks guys, it helps to know that I'm not the only one who had a tough time with that passage. Hopefully there's nothing out of the ordinary like that on Saturday's test.

So when do you guys plan to stop studying? I'm thinking Wed is gonna be my last day although I'm going to be tempted as heck to studying on Thursday.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
