FWIW guys (not that anyone listens to me and fuck... i dont blame you) I took the day off Friday before both of my last two tests. And in both, my first section was my worst even WITH warmup. I just started way too slow and it took me too long to warm up. I just wanna try something different, and maybe studying the day before (just a little bit to keep it fresh) will help me get off to an up and running start.

I'm the same baseball. Took a PT two days before both my tests and scored my high PT scores on each, but took Friday/Sunday for June off and it failed me.

Are you guys planning to do some work on Friday in the morning like before noon OR* throughout the day and into the evening?

Are you resting completing on Friday? Was reading that it's good to do a bit of practice to keep you in the zone for Saturday. I did drill on Friday before the September test, so I can't really say whether it's true or not.nlee10 wrote: I'm just doing two more PT's tomorrow and Thursday. I'm trying to think of what I could do on Friday to help me stay cool and collected. To actually get some sleep this time, would be nice, too.

I think I'll probably study a bit in the afternoon/early night. I'm planning on LGing because fun. Also doing maybe a section of LR and one of RC? Nothing drastic.nlee10 wrote:Are you guys planning to do some work on Friday in the morning like before noon and throughout the day and into the evening?

Now that I'd read some of your guys' comments from actual experience, considering doing light work throughout the day. Maybe do like 1 section each LR/LG/RC.sfoglia wrote: Are you resting completing on Friday? Was reading that it's good to do a bit of practice to keep you in the zone for Saturday. Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
Hey guys,
I saw that my post was reproduced above, and I just wanted to stress something for those of you who are turning up the heat this week:
Taking a PT every day this week will NOT put you in a good position to score your highest on Saturday. If you wanted to do that kind of intense prep schedule, you should have done it last week and the week before. Now is not the time. The week before the test should be about tapering, maintenance, and recovery. Don't try to make any huge breakthroughs this week. Make your huge breakthrough on Saturday, when it counts.
Best of luck! Feel free to reach out via PM or the BP thread if you need anything.

Can't believe that Saturday is going to be my third take, aka the last take ever.

Would retaking certain PTs this week still be disadvantageous?BP Ben wrote:Hey guys,

+1. I'm probably not going to drill anything I haven't seen before- finish out the games I have left in my redrill packet, do some level 1-2 LR questions in each type, a few passages. I plan on finishing by mid-morning and then going on a long hike in an attempt to physically exhaust myself.zacboro wrote:Friday morning I'm waking up at like 3:30-4:00 AM so I can actually fall asleep Friday night, and I'm gonna do one section of each, then go over any questions that I got wrong after BR from this week and last week. It won't be too many questions. I should finish that by my 11 o'clock class... Then the rest of the day is off.
Also oh god you guys, I had an LSAT stress dream and ended up waking up at 3:30 AM, doing an LG section, then going back to sleep. Jesus Christ I can't wait until this is over.

This statement somehow feels like a LR question about speaking in absolutes for which there's insufficient evidence.BP Ben wrote:Hey guys,

Dunno, I'll see how things go, but I like regimented schedules. We'll see.

Guys, I just spent half an hour teaching my coworker (who has been here a smidge longer than I have) how to do a subpoena. Ten minutes were spent with me teaching her the proper spelling of February. She is also a college graduate.
I'm not an asshole, am I?

I think the more surprising part of this sentence is that it took ten minutes to teach the spelling of February.Shakawkaw wrote:Guys, I just spent half an hour teaching my coworker (who has been here a smudge longer than I have) how to do a subpoena. Monday, Tuesday: Drilling LG (one or two sections), Hard Questions LR (probably about 30 a day?), Hard RC (maybe 4 a day?)
Wednesday: REST
Thursday: PT 74
Friday: Same as Mon, Tues
