Why are schools so weird about not openly admitting they don't average scores?

I would guess because it makes them appear to be more selective.koala-fy wrote:Why are schools so weird about not openly admitting they don't average scores?

Hey, guys, I am headed into the test on a consummate shit streak. last three PTs,71,72,73, I scored 172, 168, and 170, respectively. something happened over the course of a decade of LSAT administrations that makes me just pretty good at new ones versus fucking awesome at older tests. I've just decided I am gonna take it, see what I get, and live with it.
Btw, anybody else scouted out the test center? I am taking it in an auditorium, and it is awesome
. the tables are huge, definitely plenty of room to spread out. Last time I took it on a shitty little college classroom desk

I haven't been able to fall asleep very well this week, and have been waking up at 6:30 every morning to be ready for Saturday. Last night I tried to go to sleep at 9:30 pm and couldn't, so I took two Safeway over-the-counter, non-habit-forming sleeping pills. Slept until 8:30, and have been in a brain fog ever since, even though I've had my morning coffee, vitamin (which includes B12), and breakfast. Feels as if my brain is a block of lead....and I'm just feeling kind of swimmy-minded in general (the feeling you get when you're sick & drinking Dayquil). Was feeling tired yesterday, but figured that was because I hadn't slept enough....and it rained yesterday, so it could be allergies -- and every allergy medicine I've tried (Benadryl, Claritin, etc.) essentially sends me into a coma, so I can't do that. Just took 2 Advil and drank a cup of Airborne to boost my immune system -- hoping that helps.
BUT WHAT DO I DO IF I WAKE UP TOMORROW AND FEEL AWFUL?
Another consideration: this a retake for me. I got a 166 on my first test & have been scoring in the 170s on pretty much every PT since then - what would happen if I took the test and TOTALLY bombed it, so my two scores would turn out to be something like a 166 and 160?
Any thoughts = greatly appreciated.
And as for scoring lower, there's no downside. Only good consequences can come from retaking since higher scores are all that matters. I wouldn't cancel unless you KNOW you blew it. People often feel insecure afterwards and I'm sure many people have cancelled high score because of listening too much to the doubts in their head.

So I just accidentally ate a Reese's pieces. I'm allergic to peanuts. Not the best timing

Yes I'm okay! Thank you. I'm only mildly allergic, but of course I have to test out my tolerance the day before the LSAT.peppermint wrote:oh no! koala are you ok?koala-fy wrote:So I just accidentally ate a Reese's pieces. I'm allergic to peanuts. Not the best timing

URGENT, please help.
So... Being a moron I didn't realize we had to have that extra photograph with us to write the test... and the only places I have been able to find that print photos on such short notice print them in sizes that are too large... Does anyone know how stringent the LSAT staff are in relation to the size of the photographs???

Is there seriously not a Walgreens or CVS around you? I'd follow the exact instructions on the ticket if I were you.ITzNischay wrote:URGENT, please help.

Do you not have access to a printer? It doesn't have to be photo paper. Just paste it into Word and print it on regular paper.YeezusPiece wrote:Is there seriously not a Walgreens or CVS around you? I'd follow the exact instructions on the ticket if I were you.ITzNischay wrote:URGENT, please help.
