on side note: apparently there are schools who think a few hours of snow followed by heavy rain is terrible enough to cancel classes

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
So really strange... I was on a long string of going -1 or -2 per section of LR... and failing miserably at RC. Now the last 2 PTs + drills, doing great on RC. PT 70, went -0 on LG and -1 on RC, then -5 on LR1, and -5 LR2 (w/ 2 of those being due to running out of time).
This see-saw battle between RC and LR being good/bad and never coordinating to both be good is irritating. Really, I can't/won't take this Feb exam if it doesn't feel better in the next few days.
Still planning on a PT each day this week except Fri. We'll see how it shapes up.
What's frustrating is that I'm making simple, foolish mistakes on LR. Simple misreads. Like 3 of my wrong answers in LR2 today came in the first 10 Qs. Then the rest were good until I ran out of time. And on those 3 Qs, I spent an inordinate amount of time, which paved the way for me to run out of time in the end. And now that I look at the Qs, they're incredibly simple.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
-_- so got -2 in LG, my first one was kinda stupid, and one I woulda corrected with sufficient time to go back since I circled it, tho game 3 cost me too much time and barely finished.... could not for the life of my figure out why I got 18 wrong... (didn't look at the answer, just saw the red) so caved and started to watch JY set it up to see if I could get a hint b4 he did the actual question... turns out despite correctly writing out the rule, the entire game I acted as if it was S with T or I with W(supposed to be Y) ffs I hate myself... tho somehow that mix up only cost me 1 question so I guess thats not terrible but still

74 isn't a whole lot different... but LR2 was the one that really got me when I sat (feels like forever ago)Smallville wrote:seriously screw PT73... almost through LR1 and this is just bs... some of these questions make me wanna punch something

The takeaway I got from those two tests is to read very, very closely

Nah. I thought LR1 was really tricky too, and did -6 there, then -5 on LR2. See my frustration above!m27 wrote:PT70 today
