Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
Hey Mint! Thanks! I'm freaked out because I had what was objectively a really solid Dec. score, but it was a few points below my PT average and I really need scholarship money so I retook and I'm worried that if this one is lower it will actually hurt my scholarship chances in a twist of cruel irony. We'll see how it goes. Hope all is well for you! If you really want to teach those penguins some music, you should come on down to Patagonia this summer : )Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Oh hey shineshineoncrazydiamond wrote:Having a little moment of uncertainty about how much RC tanked what I felt good about otherwise on that test. Or will LSAC send them my new score regardless and I'll be f*cked if it went way down?
No harm if new score decreased
They won't wait to review app with feb unless you tell them to. They will see it if it's released, but if there's an increase def notify them
IIRC someone from dec notified schools of increase and they were p sassy about already knowing

Thanks Shib and Abbey! I'm most worried about scholarships at this point, but it's out of my hands now. C'est la vie. Hope it goes well for you guys too!AbbeyS wrote:I read on here (on that thread where you can ask previous adcom people questions) that yes, they'll look at that score but only consider the highest. Unless your scores were drastically different, they won't necessarily think anything of it. And if your score goes wayyy lower then you could always write an addendum explaining what happened (if there's an explanation)...but still, I bet it wasn't as low as you're thinkingShib26 wrote:Similar situation here. LSAC sends it automatically, but even in the unlikely event that you bombed February they should still only look at the highest score. Understandable...I'm in the exact same boat. Just gotta accept that you tried your best & its out of your hands at this point. Quadruple seconding deadpool - excellent movie. This Valentine's Day has a wealth of options. Much better than fifty shades of oh god the things I do for my friends.TheMikey wrote:My friend said it was so good that he is going to watch it again :OAbbeyS wrote:You guys should go see Deadpool....it was so good. I don't think a lower score wouldn't hurt, but it won't help. They'll still see your highest score and just judge you on that.shineoncrazydiamond wrote:Hey Mint! Thanks! I'm actually looking at Patagonia as a location for my institute for penguins who can't music good and wanna learn to do other stuff good too. There's plenty of penguins there who simply can't get their hands on a harmonica

I'm gunna apply next cycle, if I don't get anything I like ill wait and retake. Not increasing score and waiting a month kinda messed up this cycle for me.PatriotP74 wrote:Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:I didn't retake I'm just boredPatriotP74 wrote:MINT WHY ARE YOU HERE YOU HAD A STELLAR SCORE!!!!!
