Oh hell no! I don't have the material or patience to postpone...I am sticking to a max of 30 tests. 25-30 for a month and a half is still good.

I was burned out this weekend (careless errors, not up to it in general). But I am trying my best to stay on track. I have had major family issues this entire month. 51.5 is on schedule for me
We are always here to help :), so if you need anything you just let me know…

We are all in this together.

P.S. I'm working on some logic games right now while its snowing… not an ideal afternoon :(

85 and super sunny here, but indoors trying to study :(

Also, I'm gonna make a small change to the calendar that some of us are following because, as we discussed last night, it might be too soon for back-to-back PTs. I'm thinking of leaving PT C for Sunday and using 53 as experimental sections for PTs C, 52, 54, and 55. When you guys click on the link I sent you, click on the actual event as well to see details. I'll update it in the next hour or two.

Nope. :) I think taking 8-section PTs right now would be a waste of semi-fresh material for me.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do PT 53 as a PT and use C for experimentals, since C is pretty outdated?

Yes! That was my other option, I just wasn't sure how old C was. I see now that's it's 7 years older than 53, so that's what I'll do. PT C as experimental for 52, 53, 54, and 55. Thanks rebexness :)

I got my first -0 on games...but -6 on RC the other day. My weakness and strength has reversed! I'm an English lit major..this can't be happening.

Look at jk's score above your post, you can still do very well with a -6 in RC :)

Definitely the worst PT I've had in a while. It shows that I still have a long way to go on RC. Also, LR -4 is hugely disappointing today, but I think that's more of an anomaly than normal at this point. I'm for sure going to get more into RC to touch up on some stuff. Today hurt.

I would be ok with a 172 on test day I guess. But I know I can do better than that, and, more importantly, I want to be comfortably PTing in the mid to high 170s before I sit for the actual exam.
I just got this same score distribution on PT 45 (PT 43 was my best test yet for some reason). We both seem to be in a great spot, but it seems like RC doesn't have as many obvious ways to improve like LR and LG do which can be a little discouraging.

Here's an updated calendar:

PT C is being used as 5th section for PTs 52-55 and PT B for 60, 56, 70, and 63.

For anyone struggling with finishing games on time, this is a really good tip that J.Y. gives in his review of PT 51.5:

"Do not be so quick to create hypotheticals when you see a questions that presents a new rule. Consider the answer choices first because a lot of times there are 'easy giveaways' that can save us a minute or 2."

Yeah I was especially bummed since I got a 180 recently on a fresh test. I feel like I'm somewhere between a 170-180 level right now, prob 173-174. But I'd feel a lot better if I could shore up RC

No doubt. The challenge is doing that and then having it reflect consistently in PT's in the little time we have left.

I think there is time. Especially since we are retakers, we already have that foundation upon which to build. For me, at least, it's just about staying focused during each section and not slipping up.

Took the LSAT in 2010 and used that score for the 2014 app cycle...planning to retake in June to get off the wait list at my top school. Since it's been so long (and I really didn't study the first time around), can someone recommend guides/materials to study from?

I browsed this forum and saw the MLSAT Bundle and Powerscore Bibles seem popular...any thoughts before I purchase?

Don't do any of that. You have 54 days. It is so unlikely that you could get through all that material, unless you were prepping full time, that it would be a huge waste.

The Trainer, enough PTs to do 2-3 a week (buy from 71 backwards). If money isn't a thing I guess all the Manhattan books (just resell what you don't get to?)

I guess ignore all that if you can full time prep.

I would first consider exactly how much time you have to prep. Also- did you study heavily last time or was your test cold?

Tested cold first time around and scored a 150. Since I'm already wait listed at one of my top schools I will be happy to just get a 160 this time around...I figure that coupled with my softs would give me a big enough boost to get me off the wait list.

I can't prep full-time but my job is flexible enough where I can get in a decent amount of studying before June 9th.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
