Re: December 2013 LSAT waiting thread
Yesss, I had the pluto/dubois and tribes/women sections. Honestly they both totally sucked, no idea which one I'd prefer as the real one.barcafan17 wrote:I also took it in the UK and had the two RC sections that you mentioned. I had the exact opposite experience you did though; I thought the section with women's rights and the Algonquian tribes was incredibly hard, and I am pretty sure I aced Pluto and Dubois...so I'm hoping the latter RC is the real one! But since the test is non-disclosed and clearly different from the ones in the States, I guess we'll never know!jkee wrote:I took it in the UK, does this make a difference? Just read through all of the pages, still having trouble with which RC was experimental.
I had had one with web dubois and the planet pluto that KILLED me. was pluto mirrors? or is this experimental? any heads up is much appreciated. I'm in the potential cancel group. Thanks.
the real rc had mirrors, which was NOT pluto
Can we put some other key words re mirrors? I'm using all that's left of my brain and, for the life of me, nothing is coming up
I also distinctly remember a passage abt women's rights in marriage in england; this passage was NOT in the pluto/dubois RC section.
might be shooting in the dark, but if anyone has any thoughts please do share!

hi new poster here.GabeQuixote wrote:October's Games, LR and RC were all far harder.dosto wrote:I'd call this test on par with October difficulty overall (maybe a little tougher, but that's because I fail at scantrons). Easy tests have less forgiving curves.
Also, this test may ultimately have 100 questions, not 101.
The first game in today's LG was a joke.
The RC was straightforward and the questions didn't have the ambiguous answer choices that 70 did.
I have never taken an easier LSAT and I've done every prep test, and this terrifies me.
i too thought this test was relatively straightforward in comparison to the ones i studied with. but i've had the wind knocked out of me before with this test so i, too, am preparing for the worst

Re: December 2013 LSAT waiting thread
Agree with straightforwardness too!! THE LRs and RCs were quite easy as compared to PT 69 AND 70...I found a couple of LG Games a bit tricky but that seems to be what others are saying too...I took in South Korea so it is a bit different from the US I guess..ash130 wrote:hi new poster here.GabeQuixote wrote:October's Games, LR and RC were all far harder.dosto wrote:I'd call this test on par with October difficulty overall (maybe a little tougher, but that's because I fail at scantrons). A couple of people in my class just left too.. One guy after the second section and one girl after the fourth...and then a couple of guys went to the bathroom during the test... one at the beginning of the 2nd section and one at the end of 4th.. I was like are they too nervous or too confident? I couldn't imagine getting up from my seat!hanul21 wrote:the LG wasn't too bad..fairhope71 wrote:On the way home, while driving my car, I kept drawing and re-drawing the set-up again and again.desichhori wrote:SORRY...but i did... that LG section was a killer!hyewonkim89 wrote:Did anyone with only 1 LG section have a game about flights being nonstop or delayed?
Please say no....
After messing up the LG, I prayed for another LG in my booklet, unfortunately another RC greeted me.
I am 멘붕
it was after the break when I saw another RC that I wanted to explode. RC's aren't my forte and one of the girls in the place I was taking the exam stood up and left after seeing the 2nd RC. I wanted to do the same..

I finished every section in time...and just like I could mostly only get up to 23-24..but today did all of them..hope that means I did well..i don't wanna compromise quality for quantity! but it's nice to hear from others who were in the same boat as me!!fairhope71 wrote:Yes, exactly the same here!! LRs were way easier than previous PTs. In most PTs, whether it's LR or RC, my time was up by the time I got to Q23 or 24. But this time, I finished every section without being rushed.desichhori wrote:Yup Rcs weren't bad at all.. even LRs seemed easier than PT 69 and 70 ...but the LG was a nerve wrecker for me... did you feel the same?fairhope71 wrote:I did today. I had LG-LR-LG-RC-LR and I don't remember a damn thing about flights. I've gone back and forth about what the actual LG section was several times now and it's driving me absolutely crazy. Can you elaborate at all??desichhori wrote:SORRY...but i did... that LG section was a killer!hyewonkim89 wrote:Did anyone with only 1 LG section have a game about flights being nonstop or delayed?

Go back in this thread man. Every game of each section is listed. The 2nd LG section(3rd out of 5) was the exp with rows of trees, advertising slots was not real.USAO-vet wrote:I had LG-LR-LG-RC-LR and I don't remember a damn thing about flights. I read though this thread several times and it isn't helping. It's on me, though. My faulty memory is making it impossible to figure this out. I don't remember anything this about trees or advertising either. All I remember is the art game and I can't place whether that was in my first or second LG section.usernotfound wrote:Go back in this thread man. Every game of each section is listed. Does anyone with 2 LR's remember the sheep herds question? Can you maybe tread the line and give me a little more detail to the sheep herder question? I am trying to figure out which one of my 3 LRs was experimental based on how well I remember that question.

I blissfully threw away every prep test I had saved and every bundle I could see. This morning I am organizing (procrastinating) for finals and I keep finding tests, some from before my october take. It is like the worst kind of easter egg. But it is oddly therapeutic to throw all of my tests away.
How are you guys disposing of your hours/days worth of study materials? Paper shredder, guillotine, ritual burning to the LSAT gods?

Is the 168 in oct a blessing or a curse? Because I'm through with the test regardless due to that.

I also got a 168 in october so I am done either way, I like Penn and I'm pretty confident I could get in with that.

Re: December 2013 LSAT waiting thread
Checking in, overall didn't think it was that bad of a test. Lg were easy but I had test day jitters that caused me to slow down and not make it to the last 2 qs. I'm pretty confident I did well in the rest of it. Also, though exhausting, I had 3 lr sections so I can't remember specifics of them. I had
Lr-lg-lr-lr-rc.
The 3rd lr that was after the break was by far my hardest section but I don't remember the details of it. Have we determined which of the lr sections was exp? Pretty sure my 3rd section was 27 qs... I think?
