If it makes you feel any better, 72 was a harder than usual test. And since it's a December test after all, we may end up with a beautiful curve like PT 71 on Saturday.monadologist wrote:Haha, after getting 173 on PT71 i went and did PT72 with a newfound confidence and got a 164. That's the end of that. Fuck it we'll do it live!

Amen bro, we will all be fine if this thing looks anything like PT71, or any historical Dec test actually.Dirigo wrote:This. Good morning crew.
My mom turned off my alarm because she thought it was set on accident. Thankfully, my body knew. ~*~
You have rabbit feet though, you're golden!

Relax today people! Take it easy and don't let anxiety get to you. Lazing around watching Netflix is totally welcome today.

Seriously don't know if I should do anything today. I wasn't going to, but you guys are such overachievers it's making me second guess myself.
I have noticed that I usually feel off my very first section. That's prob a sign I should do a quick warm up in the morning, right? I just really want to take today off idk

Me tooo, but we can't...Just think about how early we will be able to fall asleep tonight!Shakawkaw wrote:I've only been up for an hour and I want to go back to sleep. Derrrr
Yes, just a quick warmup wouldn't be bad, but only if you are actually seeing a performance issue on first sections (Not just because of a feeling)koala-fy wrote:Seriously don't know if I should do anything today. Definitely do a warm up before the test. I'd recommend at least 1 passage, 1 game, and 5-10 LR.koala-fy wrote:Seriously don't know if I should do anything today. I wasn't going to, but you guys are such overachievers it's making me second guess myself.

I'd also caution against doing absolutely nothing today. I have trouble on the first sections too, but I find it's easier to get in the zone if it's been less than 24 hours since my brain has done LSAT.

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Thanks guys! I do usually score worse the first section, particularly if it's LR. I've noticed I have several times gone -2 in the first LR and -1 or -0 in the second. I was feeling a bit burnt out yesterday which is why I was going to take today off.
If I do do something today, and for my warm up tomorrow - would it make sense NOT to grade it? Tomorrow especially. Just for confidence purposes.

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
i second GT, i didnt do too much yesterday and was getting worried about not being in LSAT mode. if anything itll help ease anxiety to do some drills, and im definitely doing some light LSAT work tomorrow before the test.
but all in all i think weve all done a great job and are in prime position to do our best. just need to go out there and do what we do.
we dont go crazy about taking PTs on random days so no reason to do so for PT74

I'm not a fan of not grading- If you do bad and don't grade, then you just reinforced some bad habits. If you do good and don't grade, then it was a missed confidence booster.koala-fy wrote:Thanks guys! I do usually score worse the first section, particularly if it's LR.
