most of the question types on LR are very much related, in that they demand that you be able to recognize a flawed argument and are able to manipulate the flaw in the assigned way. I think every question type on LR is extremely learnable. it may be harder to go consistently -0 on LR than it is on LG, but you can consistently get yourself down to around 4 missed LR questions per test with focused practice.
I love how the consensus is that LG is the easiest, but I've devoted 90% of my studying to it and it's still consistently my worst section.
I know this is so anti-TLS logic, but I quit games. I started at -17 and now I'm -7 for games. I'm not getting to -0. I've devoted my efforts to perfecting LR and RC and the plan is working out pretty well for my goal. I've taken the LSAT 2x before and I've accepted I ain't getting to -0 for games.

its not that its the easiest. But its DEFINITELY the most learnable. Then, once you learn it, ya its probs the easiest. Its actually fun for me. Like a mental break.

I'm hoping for that. If I could go -0 on LG I'd be in the 173-175 area, and from there it'd just be maintenance.

Good morning people! In my insomniac googling, I turned up rumors that last year's Feb exam had a linear circle game. Given that they followed it up with that weird as shit pattern game from June, I think it might be time to review LGB's rare games chapter.

Should I take a new PT today (I think I haven't taken 60) or re-take the September HELLSAT? Please advise. Soon. Making eggs now...

It was for me, too. Until I did every single LG in existence at least five times. I've done the Most Difficult packet twelve times. TWELVE.
It is the easiest in that it is learnable through sheer repetition.

I think that might be someone screwing with us, but I do remember TestMasters made sure people had seen a circular game just in case. A map game would destroy me, though

I think the reason LG is easiest for me..and I'd think a good number of people here..is because they're fun. RC is dense, LR (for me at least) is a weird race to finish and draw from a lot of different sources of knowledge. LG is a few basic principles applied in different ways. I was super intimidated by this entire test when I started studying and changing my mindset pretty much let LG click for me.
Did 13 games this morning and went 72/74
Now onto LR. Hopefully drilling RC today too but I'm feeling kind of off so I may wait until Tuesday.
I don't like the circular games too much but the maps games I've done have been my absolute favorites. Thinking spatially instead of linearly or in groups is so much easier for me. I do hope Feb is a standard LG set though for all of our sakes.

I'd do 60 if you wanna do one more this week. If you plan to only do this as your last one, I would do 74.

Confused - do you mean retaking the September exam or taking the December exam?

September isn't 74? I'm taking December on Thursday. So, I mean re-taking September. Which apparently everyone thinks is a great idea. (Does this mean February is 75? Because that feels like a good number to me!!)
If I end up in a puddle of tears on the floor in three hours, this is on you, February Group.

February isn't released so it's 74.5. And I love that none of us caught that, including all the December retakers.

I would take December (74) today, and re-take September (73) on Thursday. The order really shouldn't matter because you're going to kill both since your skills are already up there, bb. Let us know what you decide!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who confused the numbers! But boo, 74.5. Don't love that decimal point.

I want to take December on Thursday because I am more nervous that September will be a fuck-up (again) and destroy my confidence. So, I'm going to do that now.
Turning off all the radiators in my apartment... Gotta be careful about that PTSD kicking in.

During the test and my BR I noticed this question was weird... I ended up picking up the right answer but I still went to the Manhattan Forums to get some sort of explanation, I was happy to see a post saying "So, I gotta be honest about something strange. I think this question is wrong. I've never written this before about an LSAT question, so I'm nervous about it, but I really really think it. ... I hate to say it, but LSAC really screwed this one up. I'd tell them, if they ever answered my calls."
I don't wanna post the whole thing but did anyone else notice how TCR for this question could be wrong??
Here's the Manhattan link if anyone wants to see the whole thing.

Yeah. I got that Q wrong. Really bothered me since I dismissed TCR on the basis of it seemingly employing flawed logic.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
