Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
-20/37 difficult LR questions today. If I had picked my second answer on all the ones I've missed I'd be -3. Where has my logic gone? I really hope these are not indicative of the Feb test. I know they're supposed to be the hardest questions, but this just has me frazzled. Maybe I'm not cut out for this. Im gonna do 25 more questions before going to the gym amd then doing a few games, but if I don't get LR down better, this test is gonna kill me.

Saturday- 5 section PT + BR; 4 section PT + BR.
Sunday- 5 section PT + BR; homework.
Monday- 5 section PT, class, BR. Review saved LR questions + games
Tuesday- class, 5 section PT + BR. Review saved LR questions + RC
Wednesday- 5 section PT + BR. "rare" games review
Thursday- break (aka, only homework)
Friday- 2 LR sections, 1 LG, 1 RC spaced out with review + chill
Saturday the 7th- Take another "practice test"
In the past, I've never felt burnt out from intense PTing. Actually, it keeps my head in LSAT-mode and more acclimated to dealing with it.

Sfogs: *heart eyes emoji* ily and no one should be alone on their b-day. For my last b-day, it was score release for Sept. and I was a wreck.
Here is my official, incredibly public, invitation to get drinks, rant about the February exam and talk about how awesome lingerie is and how much boys suck. Rigo will haul ass from his hermit hole to come too!

How delicious does this look? Ahhhh!

I wouldn't take it as an indicator of anything, really, though it's tough not to. This is a training exercise, intended to build skill either in timing or in strategy/recognising patterns. If you're improving in either of those facets, this is worth doing. But don't use it as a good indicator since it's not representative of a real LR section.RaiderRed wrote:-20/37 difficult LR questions today. I'm hoping to just discredit my troubles with this packet in my PT this weekend. Im understanding why I miss most of the ones I miss and generally I pick the wrong answer of the tricky ones because I get caught in the wording.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
On break from PT72. I retook the second LR from PT74 as my experimental, and I felt a lot better about it now than I did on gameday, so it'll be interesting to compare performances. I have got to get better about timing, though. I had timing issues on both the LR and the RC. Anybody have any tips on how to improve on timing? More timed sections? More drilling on LR question types that take me a long time (parallelreasoningandinferencescoughcough)? More sciencey passages? Voodoo magic? I'll try anything.
Also y'all definitely make me feel like a slacker. I have three PTs planned from here to game day, then drilling on all other days.
Also also you all live on the wrong coast. I'd definitely be in for post-LSAT drinks/cake.

You're doing back to back like M27? GL lol.Smallville wrote:taking 73... I think lol maybe 63 toonlee10 wrote:Anyone taking PT 69 tomorrow?
So I ended up doing 13 group games today and am debating whether I should study more or just rest since I'm PT'ing first thing in the morning.

My post earlier on this evening (just above) feels like it's helping on timing for RC.leslieknope wrote:On break from PT72. I'm doing the Most Difficult packet now, timed, to help me on LR-timing issues. But, yeah, generally would say drilling Q types is prob best...

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
Just had an LG meltdown the likes of which I haven't had since like fucking October, and even worse than what I had on my real take in December (where I -5ed on LG). I didn't even get to the last game. Not sure what to chalk this up to, but definitely super discouraging, especially as my LG game has been really strong since I started studying for the retake.
