The one you overthink. This happened to me a frustrating amount, so I committed that if an answer in the first ten doesn't click on the first read through that I come back. It's always something stupid. For me, the really early point of disagreements throw me off because they just seem too obviously easy.
I've had it happen a few times where I overlook something small in the stim or the one of the answer choices, and cross all the answer choices off for being equally implausible, and I read it again and it still just doesn't click.

I think it's good practice though, in a way? I used to have it drilled into my head that if I'm 10 min in and at question 6, or spend 10+ minutes on the first passage, there's no way I'm going to be able to finish in time. It's good to realize that, no, you can finish in time and a perfectly good score even if you've screwed up the earlier questions.
I always have a mini panic attack every time I hit question 18 at like 20 mins and need to remind myself my timing is more than fine Haha.

I'm trying to train myself not to freak out about timing early on in the section but damn, 20 in 20 is the BEST feeling

Agreed!

But, also, like, you don't get extra points for finishing early, nice as it feels. and if you have to sacrifice even one point for accuracy, it's not worth it. I used to try to do a bunch of 25 in 25 speeded drills and stuff until I realized it was literally making me worse....

Has anyone else noticed that there is this an apparent repeating pattern amongst correct answers in a few sections in the PT70s:

B A B E

Lmao!!! Not a bad acronym to appear..I wonder what's on LSACs mind

P.S I am grading PT76 now (Took today) *Prayer hands*

So I just did June 2016. I don't see all the hubub about Clay Tablets...I felt like it was a pretty clear passage, but I thought #21 was somewhat challenging to get to the right answer for.

Anywho, did -3 on that RC section. I didn't really time myself, but I also didn't feel like any passage took all that long. One was a wrong to right answer change.

I'm a fan of BEC - I'm like, 'Yeah - I could totally go for a bacon egg and cheese right about now.'

Anyone else start super organized and just end up having piles of papers and books everywhere? I had a really nice and neat binder of all my PTs for the first few ones... but eventually it became a, 'Well, I BRd it and went over all my wrong answers, into the stack you go!'

haha - so, this may be a bit weird... I started to feel little under the weather a few days ago, so I went and bought ten toothbrushes so I could use a fresh one every brushing until test day.

Just gonna review, try not to think about it, and rest. I've reached my target score (166) a few times while PTing, but I still have this nervous feeling wondering if I should just wait until December, but I really don't want to wait that long to apply and continue to study for this test (this week is going to be my third time taking it).
No reason you can't just go for both. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
I can't do both this week and December because this week will be my third time. I think I would just apply with the numbers I have at that point instead of waiting another cycle.

You're on the same boat as me then broski. We got this! I've hit my target score twice (both in last 3 PTs) I still feel like garbage but I'm gonna finish up 78 today, BR score and review. Possibly cry.

First LR was unusually hard, or maybe it was cause I wasn't 100% I had a hard time reading

Nice to know I'm not alone, good luck! Yeah the first one was definitely harder!

Man, my confidence level is hitting a low point today. Probably need to just chill out and stop studying until warmup Saturday, but I think that might make it worse.

If it's a timex weekender, you aren't. Those things are absurdly loud. It's the worst.

Got through 2 LG sets.
Honestly so fucking tired. Getting a lot of sleep and taking it easy for the next two days. Three conferences on Friday and tbh there's no way I'm going to be done all the readings by then. Lol, I think I'm just gonna try to coast through and forgive myself if I sound like an idiot.

I was thinking about a decongestant/antihistamine for saturday but it looks like they all have side-effects? Might look into some idk natural remedies or something.

Nah. It's some cheap shit though. I didn't notice the ticking until I put it close to my ear. I don't think it will be a big deal but who knows. I only wanted it for this test, I don't wear watches and when I do, it's my Apple Watch.
